Massage versus Escort Services

Had posted a response on another thread and it got me thinking. I've been looking at how the massage business has evolved. So many new places opening all the time, but no meaningful customer orientation in most places. One is lucky to even get a decent massage in most of the places. The emphasis is on extras ...60, 80, 120, 160, 200, on an on... on top of so called room fee of 80/hr. It got me thinking if we as clients are to really blame for this. The general assumption on sites like CAF is that we all go for massages looking for FS or BJs or BBBJs or BBBJCIM etc etc.

As a true massage fan for many many years, I choose great massages from an attractive masseuse with some happy ending (or beginning or both) potential, but being safety minded was never actually looking for escort options. If once or twice a year, based on YMMV, something else evolved, great! but not as a regular menu item. I am curious as to whether there are many more like me who appreciate the 'excellent massage' with added sensuality or have most people moved on to looking for 'escort type services' with massage as an add-on in name only? I enjoy pleasure without any added health risks. But if most people want something else then it is we who have changed the industry, don't you think? Am interested in other people's input on what they have wanted versus what they have experienced. Not a debate around who is right or wrong, but just interested to know if anyone else still thinks like I do. I still seek out massages once or twice a week, but just not the kind that have become the norm.

My complaint now is that there doesn't seem to be much mystery anymore we all know the places that provide HE and unfortunately the ones that do usually do not provide a quality massage. It seems there are always girls coming and going and if you find one you like there is no guarantee they will be there in a month, add the fact that the price of any HE with any girl that is at least half assed attractive has gotten ridiculous has caused me to shift my preference.
I have found that I am frequenting Lewis more often because I like the massage even though there are no extras on the menu and if looking for more then I choose an escort or a mp because the cost is similar and with an RMT you usually get 5 minutes of action which in my opinion is not worth what they are asking.

You're not alone Albertaman. I prefer a really good deep massage way more than an average one with an ending.

Ditto! I look for a great massage first (if there is sensuality/teasing by the masseuse, great) and if the ending is available great, if not it doesn't matter to me. I do believe rates in edmonton have gotten crazy but that was due to the insane amount of money people were getting paid and willing to throw at the masseuse for even the most basic of services. I hear in TO from other forums that you can get a great massage and HE for $60-80. You cant even get a good massage here for that much!

Gents, I am in total agreement with You ....Just wish I could have the selection and pricing Toronto has.
I used to frequent Lewis , for the last 3 years and always had a great 90 min massage from Alice.... Of course once she left, she never had a replacement I liked , so then I have moved on.
My question , do any one have a name of a RM at Lewis that at least will finish with senual teasing ?

I agree with you BigBill and yes lets hope people here in Alberta finally have some sense kick in and stop paying these outrageous rates! I go on CAF occasionally and it never ceases to shock me what some people pay an escort! $300+ per hour is ridiculous for a bit of release so yes lets hope we start seeing rates like TO here.
I will admit that there are many times that I have payed an extra $60 to $80 for the basic HE only to regret it after and question my sanity for paying that amount for a quick 10 minute service that in many cases is okay but not great. I am not shilling but when I saw Extreme April I paid that same amount for a much better experience! This is also where I miss Vivian because she too gave a great experience at a very reasonable price.

Thank you gents, it's a pleasure to read your feedback and know that I'm not alone in my thinking. I'm surprised that from the massage provider side, more independents don't set up their businesses from a home based private environment like in some other cities. I understand that in Calgary the bylaws are stupid preventing many from doing so, not sure what it's like in Edmonton. City like Montreal has so many independents combining excellent massage and sensuality, and Toronto has tonnes of choices in regular spa/therapeutic+sensuality settings.

IMHO, providers who can develop their businesses around this niche providing excellent experiences at rational pricing could have successful businesses, stable incomes and a safer/better cadre of clients. Perhaps, when the 'get rich quick' plans fizzle away in Alberta over the next year, some of us may discover better providers .

I want both. I do leave heartbroken if I get a shitty massage and good hj. I have only had one great massage that included a HE. Otherwise they have been lack-luster/nothing special and rushed despite how fun the ending is. My factors are quality of massage/price/and HE. I want to try a number of them but I think so far only Tina has fit the bill for all 3 of those criteria so I will end up with her
