new bars in bangla

There is a new soi of bars about to open about 20 bars in bangla they were getting everything ready tonight have the signs up for girls wanted .

Its between soi sea dragon and tiger the soi is called soi LION by the looks of things it will be up and running in a week .

It looks a nice soi :cheers:

it was being built when i was there in early august.looks like a relatively small soi.as said it is near tiger.didnt no name of it,but as with all bars in july august i think it will struggle.there werent enough people in patong to fill one bar street up let alone 5 or 6.

With all the promotions going on and all the NEW airlines coming down to phuket this place will be buzzing oct nov dec jan feb this year beleive me in july aug they are always very quiet months i think this will be a big high season for the buissneses its shaping that way anyway .

Flights in from bkk are down to 780 /800 baht even the thai girls that always take the bus are flying and booking there flights ( the ones brave enough that is lmao)

The new soi looks cool the bars look nice about 20 bars 10 down the right 10 down the left i have a feeling this will be a fun place .

They were cleaning it all up tonight the first night it opens i will take some pics and stick them up .

Flights as low as 800 baht ? which airlines please ?
I will be going to pattaya in Nov this year & I will only book the flight to bangkok , you think i will be able to get a flight easy enough even if it means business class on any airlines if i just turn up , or does anyone think thats too risky and better to sort it out from pattaya ?

I think the location is good for the new bar-soi. Its close to Tiger and for me it seems like tha action has moved closer to this area. The sois closer to the beach seem to have more problems filling up the bars.
But you never know, thin changes fast and nothing last for ever. :cheers:

Re the airlines i just did two quick trips phuket bkk return i flew with one to go its a no frills airline but at 800 baht 1600 return it was cool .

Air asia are also doing lots of specials between phuket and bkk BUT if i were u i would book in advance because from what i am hearing hotels airlines espec for the xmas period are getting well booked.

There is a flight that operates now pattaya - phuket i saw it advertied the other day in bkk post cant remember the price but i think it was 1800 return .

For anyone that has seen the big new shopping complex being built in front of what was the shark club i looked at that today and its going up very fast .

I have a friend that showed me the plans for it and there will be a 1060 unit shopping centre inside it was also mentioned to me but i forgot to look on the plans that there will be a 14 screen cinema complex inside i know you guys on holiday might not be interested but for those that live here and like the cinema like i do it will be pretty cool to have a 14 screen cinema .

i think that you are gonna see more and more trendier bars popping up in patong like the bar below rockhard. i would love to get into a partnership on on eof these bars. i predict in 5-6 years, patong will look totally different

Maipenrai the JungCeylon complex (opposite Star Club/ ex Shark) is 4 times the size of the just opened Central Mall - so there's now doubt that come January many things will change in Patong.

One thing is for sure the cost of everything is heading one way -- UP!!

As far as nightlife - that too is likely to change - you dont spend that kind os money on 53 Rai without 'knowing' you are going to be very successful, so better enjoy things before expectaions (especially of girls) push upwards along with prices. Would guess an equaliastion between prices between Sing/KL will occur - already prime land is 50% of Sing prices!

Walked past the new bars last nite........not many punters in there.....first nite blues.....no doubt will catch on.......does not look any better than the rest of them, just a bit newer.....my TG would not let me go in to check out in detail....and to tell u the truth l would not have been up for it anyway.....l need to go home for a holiday.

Just in case you are not aware , you are going in the low season.

Things will hot up for high season around November and this will last until mid-april or possibly slightly later mid-may.

The main of high season is December & January & if you want to go then sometime you will need to be on the ball & get your flights and hotels booked early as you can.

Bear in mind that high season is the most expensive and as you are going very soon you would be able to just buy the flight only as you are guaranteed to be able to walk into pretty much any hotel in patong and book there and then, you will also be able to get the lowest prices for the room.

Ok, there will not be the same vibrant atmosphere you would see in high season but as Irish jonny has said you will get the pick of the girls & will probably be very popular as you stroll Bangla.

Also , when you go the beach you will have the pick of the sunbeds too and have enough room to ''swing a cat''.

Don't worry about it , just enjoy
