Wow, and I thought the service at my local Crappy Tire was bad!
Guys, I just had two inexplicable calls (to the same MPA). There is an ad in the Eye Weekly that reads:
"Full body relaxing massage by friendly exotic black lady. $30/30 min. $40/40 min. Showers avail. Steeles/400. 10am-9pm. 416-763-8503."
After phoning, you get a recording giving you another number to book an appointment: 416-746-9792.
Ok, first things first. Remember that descriptor in the ad, "friendly?" Whoever I was dealing with was about as friendly as a rabid pitbull on steroids. She opens by saying (yelling, actually), "When do you want to book an appointment?!"
I replied by saying I needed some more information, such as --
She interupts. "Can't you f***ing read? All the f***ing info is in the ad! Stop wasting my f***ing time!!"
Actually, no, all the info is not in the ad. Such as, oh, the address of the place. After all, the Steeles/400 intersection is the size of a small town. But it was a moot point: she hung up.
I called back, trying to let bygones be bygones. My icebreaker, accompanied with a chuckle, was, "Well, I think we got off on the wrong foot, eh?"
This resulted in her screaming a diatribe of profanities, complaining about her time being wasted, and then hanging up again.
Gentlemen, I am at a loss to explain this inexplicable behaviour. But, in a way, I'm thankful that this witch displayed her true colours on the phone rather than after I paid for a session.
Anyway, consider yourselves warned. Since she is definitely not friendly, what else is false abotu the ad? That she is exotic? Black? Or even a lady?
Cheers,
Mel
