Poll: Platinum's Communal Showers

<div class="bbWrapper">I&#039;ve been to this place and I don&#039;t mind the communal showers, I&#039;m not scared to so my body to the public. I will NEVER share a shower stall with another guy he can wait until I&#039;m done or the MPA and I are done with the shower stall.<br /> <br /> my 2 cents</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I&#039;m intrigued that 640 folks have read the thread and only 24 have voted, 12 who&#039;ve been to Platinum, and 12 who haven&#039;t. That&#039;s about two dozen non-voters for every one with an opinion. I&#039;da thunk from some of the flamier threads that massageplanet.netinators were more opinionated.</div>

I can&#039;t choose between the communal showers being fun ( I did think they were cool ) or having a more private shower with the MP ( that can be very cool ) If the MPA concerned isn&#039;t joining me, in the &quot;proposed&quot; pre fab shower, assuming there is room, then a private shower doesn&#039;t matter.</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">The good thing about the communal show is the possibility of seeing 2 or 3 ladies walking around naked. Helps in the decision making later whether or not to see them. The bad thing is if you also see some 250lb hairy backed customer trying to wash the oil away from under his balls.<br /> <br /> I think privacy is better.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I know it was described in the original post, but can we just clear something up for those who haven&#039;t been to Platinum yet and might be getting scared off by this discussion?<br /> <br /> The only thing &quot;communal&quot; is the fact that the showers are in one room. Otherwise, it&#039;s exactly the same set-up as you&#039;d see at a better gym. There are two showers side by side, but they are each in their own individual stall, with three walls floor to ceiling and a shower curtain across the entrance. Your towel hangs on a hook out front, and you can quite successfully shower and dry yourself off behind the privacy of the curtain and never show your naked, hairy self to anyone else.<br /> <br /> Beyond that, maybe I&#039;ve just been lucky, but I&#039;ve never even passed another guy in the hallway while I&#039;ve been tower clad, and I&#039;ve been there when it&#039;s been at its busiest. More likely, it&#039;s been the attendants I&#039;ve been with. After the massage, they always throw on a towel and check the shower room. That way it&#039;s always just the attendant and I in the side-by-side stalls or, if one stall has an attendant in it by herself, it&#039;s the attendant and I in one stall.<br /> <br /> So, Geez, have no fear. Go and try them out - it&#039;s a solid roster, and you shouldn&#039;t be disappointed.</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">Been there twice, it was a fun experience (esp. showering with your MPA for free and with luck seeing another MPA with almost nothing on).</div>
