Powder vs Oil ? ?

Is powder any good?

How can this be better than oil?

I don't want to risk my humble money for the sake of scientific experimentation.

Please, oh Doctors of MPs, enlighten us to how,where, why this is prefferable to oil.

Here's some tips from a MPA's percpective on the Oil vs Powder debate:

1. Powder is generally best reserved for softer massage. For a harder massage a liquid lubricant is best used, ie. oil or lotion. Powder can be used to help absorb the oil before a shower.

2. Oil, while harder to wash off, in my opinion gives the best massage. Allows the least amount of friction on the skin. Makes for a slippery-smooth and sexy massage.

3. Lotion is a good alternative is you really don't like oil. Same lubricating properties, like oil, just absorbs quicker, therefore requiring more product for the massage. Washes off a little more easily than the oil.

One last tip: in the shower, wash with the shampoo. It's made to cut through greasy hair, and will cut through and wash off the oil a lot better than the soap. Usually doesn't have as strong a smell as the soap either.

A lot of massage places use baby oil, so clients tend to choose baby powder over the oil. That's because it can be so damn greasy.

I know this has been posted before, but I couldn't find the link. SRM offers several choices of oils. They have everything from a thick to a thin almost non-existent oil. It's great to have choices!

Oil is best for dry skin, but it also helps in a sensual feeling while having a bodyslide if oil is applied, less efforts for the MPA to slide all her goodies on your body

I can't believe place STILL use Baby Oil!
WTF?

I mean, MY S/O has almost busted me more than once for smelling like baby oil. I mean, what guy ever would use that stuff in the normal course of the day? ...and no girls, the scent does NOT wash off - not for some time! (regardless of how thoroughly you shower afer the session's over.)

If only these massage places (usually the cheaper ones) would learn.

Get unscented oil! Mineral oil.
Its almost as cheap, and its scent-free.
Check The Body Shop, etc. lots of place have it.

One reason oil is preferable is, MPAs feel more comfortable probing the deeper crannies with a coating of oil on their fingertips. Only makes sense...and sensuality.
