MEDINA COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A male reported he was held at gunpoint after paying for a massage at a private
residence located on Branch Road in Medina County Wednesday.
The victim arranged to pay $180 for the service. Once at the residence, The man said a female named Erica Boyd led him to a back bedroom of the home.
She then left the room and a male identified as Brandon Bardo entered the room brandishing a shotgun and pistol. The victim was held at gunpoint for some time by Bardo but later released without incident.
After leaving the Branch Road address, the victim continued to receive threatening calls from Boyd and Bardo, according to police.
During an interview with the Medina County Sheriff’s, the victim described in detail the shotgun and handgun. A photo lineup was conducted, and the victim was able to identify Boyd and Bardo as the suspects.
Due to the nature of the crime, a search warrant was executed at the Branch Road address by
the Medina County SWAT Team.
Several guns were seized in the residence.
Boyd and Bardo were located in Cleveland and arrested with the assistance of the Medina County Drug Task Force and the Ohio State Highway Patrol. A handgun was in the vehicle Bardo was driving at the time of his arrest.
Boyd and Bardo are being held at the Medina County Jail on charges of Aggravated Robbery with a deadly weapon, a felony of the 1st degree.
