As Queen Victoria is reputed to have said of dear Mr Wilde and his friends, "whatever they might be doing amongst themselves should be of no concern, as long as they don't do it in the road and frighten the horses."

As a resident of the area, I could smell the trouble brewing when my acquaintances and neighbours started commenting

A couple of points here.

The political atmosphere in this country following the sponsorship scandal can be sum up in a word "accountability". (Just listen to Steve Harper's TV spot) And it is by stretch of imagination that "clean" and "morality" are not far behind. With the recent corruption investigation of several high ranking police services personnel it is not difficult to understand the tone and agenda behind the statement. The police wants us to see them as the "clean" and "moral" upholder of the Law.

However I think the Police are more concern with street actions and some MPs in the area that provide FS. I doubt they are as concern with the establishment which massageplanet.netites are frequenting.
