Greetings,
A couple weeks ago i pulled what i believe to be my left supraspinalis muscle playing hockey. I'm quite familiar with pulled muscles, having played hockey and various other competitive sports since i was a little kid -- but this pull feels different. It just won't go away, or even improve. It's gotten to the point where i can't sleep, because i can't get into a position where it doesn't twinge and hurt. I've done the heat and ice treatments at night, hopped up on ibuprofen, taken some prescription naproxen (from a previously diagnosed degenerative disc problem, L3-L4), and might try takingflexeril(also from the previous disc problem), but so far nothing has worked.
Is there any sort of exercise, or type of deep tissue massage that might help this problem heal? Any OTC drugs i should take?
Thanks for your time,
R
