PUSH THERAPY
I just want to give you a heads up. I took the PUSH therapy trainings last year and am now certified. PUSH has changed my life and a lot of my clients. A lot of my clients who have suffered for years with back pain, shoulder pain, carpal tunnel, knee pain, etc. have switched from massage to PUSH therapy and have seen a lot of improvement. Some of them are painfree now just after a couple of treatments. Some are still working towards a painfree state.
The reason I decided to take this continuing education is because I have only been doing massage for 2 years part time and have already felt pain in my hands, wrists, etc. I still work my full time job as an design engineer, which means 8 hours in front of a computer. Obviously, not good for the hands or wrists.
PUSH therapy is done with your forearm, finger and thumb tools. Yes, it sounds weird but it saves on your body and hands. You are in a relaxed posture while working on clients which is incredibly beneficial for us and our bodies. When using the finger or thumb tool, again your body and hand is completely relaxed however, you can feel everything that you are working on thru that tool. I know, it is hard to explain but it works. As far as the therapy goes, it has changed my life for the better. I just had a treatment yesterday on my lower body. I was having some back issues due to too much yard work in the last couple of weekends. My low back and legs feel looser, less restricted. I have no pain anywhere in my low back or legs. I feel more grounded and relaxed.
There is so much that I could tell you.
