Red Light Area in Toronto?

Is there any area in Toronto you could really call a Red Light District?

Most big Western cities have them - what about Toronto?

Legally - no, but its been discussed in T.O. for years. Who knows, with a new city council in Nov....

There used to be a loop of Church-Carlton-Jarvis-Gerrard but I understand that an LE harassment campaign drove them away a few years ago. They were often knockouts but by reputation they were terribly expensive and not the service wasn't great.

I think a good argument could be made for EBC, or its satellite on E Wilmot.
