SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) — An employee at a massage parlor near San Marcos was arrested and charged with prostitution after she offered to perform a sex act on an undercover officer.

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office says 59-year-old Linan Wang ran Chi Massage at a strip center in the 1900 block of Ranch Road 12, just outside San Marcos city limits. Authorities say Wang listed the business address as her home.

Officers started looking into Chi Massage when they received a tip that the business was advertising sexual services on social media outlets. There were also several online reviews where customers “described in detail the sexual services they had allegedly received at the massage parlor,” according to a press release.

Wang was arrested on Wednesday and authorities are working on revoking the business’ license to operate. It is not clear if Wang owned and operated the massage parlor.
