I have been reading stuff on and off of here about SARS. Now this is serious shit. How many of us really know what we are dealing with?
Do we know how it is transferred? NO
Can we get it in the general public? We have no idea
Do we have a cure for it? NO
Do we have a vaccine to prevetn against it? NO
Will you get it at an MP?? Not likely.
Now I am far from being an expert on this whole thing, but the chances of getting it is VERY slim. Unless you have been in contact with someone who has it, been to one of the hospitals and once again have CLOSE contact with someone who has it then you are not likely to get it. Please do not quote me on this, but the chances are still slim.
Think about what we have to do when we visit and MP. Take a shower and make sure we are clean for the MPA. The MPA takes a shower and cleans up after each client. Clean towels, sheets and such are in each room for each client. The showers are cleaned after each visit. Do you get the picture here? These places are cleaner then the TTC and any other seat you may sit on at a restaurant even.
Now when Chloe was at HFH alot of people wondered why she put alocohol on your hands before you touched her. I bet it all make sense to us now. This girl was smart, made sure you were clean for her and she was clean for herself as well as any other people she would come incontact with. If you ask me this should be common practice at all MPs right now.
So in the end I say go enjoy your experience and forget whats going on around us. Is this not why we go to these establishments in the first place. Do we not go to escape the everyday stress in life? i know I do.
Just my 5 cents worth.
Worthit
