Serious Privacy Issue: All SP's, Please Read

Over the past five months on 7 occasions now, I have had SP's from several of our local Edmonton MP's approach me to start a personal conversation in public when I was with other people and they were out with their friends.

This is a huge concern for me and this should be a huge concern for the MP's and all SP's in the industry.

I was at the bank in the mall 2 weeks ago with two other colleagues of mine from work. An SP I have not seen since March approached me and my colleagues as we were walking away from the ATM.
She asked me how I was doing. I responded awkwardly.Her friend, using what I believe is her real name, asked her if she still wanted to go with her to the gym in 2 hours.She asked me If I was out with my friends, I said these were my colleagues.Then she ask where I have been for the last few months. I answered but now I was feeling really worried about this situation."It been too long since I have seen you. Are planning on stopping by at anytime?" She did not mention anyhting about the hobby.At this point, I had enough. I apologized nervously and I told her I had a meeting and we had to get back to the office right away.
It was still lunch time. My colleagues have access to my calendar, they are guys and they start asking questions about why I ran off from a conversation with a pretty young girl before the discussion was finished.

I spent most of the lunch hour trying to say she is a friend of an EX and it was a bad break-up and I felt uncomfortable talking with one of my Ex's close friends.

Two weeks later and this incident was brought up in another conversation at my office in which I had to be very careful to make sure my story was the same story I had told 2 weeks ago.

I'm am very upset about this. This could have caused huge issues for me at work. I work in a back stabbing, vicious office environment where the smallest of things things are blown way out of proportion. I am not a construction worker. I am a business professional. These SP's crossed a huge line with me as a client. They put themselves at risk and they put their client at risk.

I also doubt I am the only client who has had this happened to him. This is the 7th lady from an MP to do this to me when I have been out in public since June.

In turn, clients should never to try to engage an SP in a public conversation outside the hobby. Either way, both people are putting their personal lives at risk.

These Providers are also letting clients have personal information about them they should never let them have under any circumstances. These providers are putting their clients personal lives at risk.

I have already spoken to this lady at her studio and I agreed to keep this between us.

I am a hard working, decent person and I take care of my family. That's me. I need my job to not only enjoy the hobby but I am also responsible for taking care of other members of my family that are down on their luck. Times are tough. Just because I am single, it doesn't mean other concerns don't exist.

These SP's should consider that some of their clients are not always what they seem to be.

This kind of situation could go very badly for them with other clients. I highly doubt I am the only client they do this with.

Some guys that visit studios may also be very severally depressed. The second you make the SP client relationship public, you might give these dangerous pooners the wrong idea about nature of the SP-Client relationship.

You might be putting one of your co-workers at risk since this troubled guy may think it's okay to cross this line now.

I would ask any SP's that are reading this to bring this up at your staff meetings and let the other ladies at your MP's know how serious this is for their personal safety and out of respect for their clients personal lives.

Approaching clients for personal conversations in public should never be an acceptable practice.

This hobby is suppose to be safe, fun, and discreet for everyone involved. There are some boundaries that should never be crossed and this is one of them.

Yikes, that's a pretty serious situation.. Sorry that happened to you Fiddy. I hope the guys at work don't bring it up again.

I haven't had anything like this happen to me in the past, but I hope that if it does happen, both myself and the SP would just walk past each other, and go our seperate ways.

I agree with you fiddy. I have had this happen to me several times too.
It's not a fun time to have to think about. And it's one reason why I don't go to the
local MP's. I also find facebook a place where SP's are trying to make contact.

Things go in cycles, and memories are short. Us old timers remember the drama of Adrianna (aka Julia) doing much the same thing to freddylikesit in WEM, when was that Spring 2004?

Maybe there should be a collection of classic threads that everyone can learn from and should read before they become hobbyists or SPs.

I guess for me it's a blessing that I am too chickshit to see ladies in a MP and stick mainly with indies....

But, not making light of this topic Fiddy, (no offense meant), lucky for me, most people really want nothing to do with me outside of work..... let alone the ladies.....my personality is been described as intense....

SEVEN times in 5 MONTHS??? I've never seen an SP outside the confines of 'the business' let alone been approached by one on the street/mall/where ever. While it is inexcusable I would suggest that you look at yourself and your approach to the SPs.

As a relatively newbie who is hesitating to dip the proverbial toe in the water in large part due to privacy concerns, this is an extremely troubling post. Also makes me think that a huge part of eventually selecting an SP is going to be reviews and comments about their professionalism moreso than pictures and/or services. Probably means more time spent "lurking", otherwise known as researching and being thorough with making a good selection. Extra points to (from me at least) to the respectful ladies who are denouncing what happened here. I don't doubt there are smart professionals out there, so it is good to get more information as to who they are.

Thanks for sharing the story. Hopefully the problem quietly goes away.

wow ...that really sucks and if I were in your shoes I'd do a great deal of back pedalling and bsing my co-workers.....I would have thought that it's an un written rule about approaching a SP in public and the same discretion would apply to a client.

Thank god I don't have anything to hide ..from co-workers or family .I don't have a wife or gf at the moment. I park outside the front door when I visit a MP

But I can see where it could jeopardize someones job or reputation

I live in an area where, it seems, some of my clients do also. Therefore, we share common Safeways, Blockbusters and Walmart, etc. I had run into one client in particular on a few occasions at Safeway and I could tell he wanted to say hi the first couple of times. Unfortunately I was not in a position to be able to talk and I think he might have thought I was snubbing him. I haven't heard back from him since.

I now try to have a conversation once I have seen someone a few times to the effect of "If you and I are ever to run into each other in public...how do we approach it?". I've found that by discussing it ahead of time, we both know what the correct protocol is and can avoid embarassing, or problematic scenarios.

What's common sense to some is just not the same to others. It's good to be direct and clear.

I agree there is no reason to go up to a SP if you spot them around town. Maybe a general nod or smile that would be about it.

But really 7 SP's has come up to you in the last 5 months. Is it just me or does that sound like a crazy # ????

You sure you didn't have the 1..... hell even 2 encounters and then dream the the other 5??

I'm just saying 7 SP's seem a bit hard to swallow (reading that line it sounds so dirty lol)

Obviously to provide greater Clarity, here's a list of the other 6 times.

5 of the girls do not seem to be working at MP’s in Edmonton at this time. All these ladies advertised their ages as 18-19 years old. I had seen all of them for one session each between Sept of 2009 and March 2010. All of the sessions were lackluster.

June 2010: One of these ladies approached me at WEM when I was with my cousin from BC because she was upset that I did not write her a good review. No issue here since my cousin is also in the hobby. (Bad idea all the same)

June 2010, One week later: An SP from Penthouse Massage that was not there for more than a couple of weeks approached me and my cousin at the Bank. She was handing out business cards for the studio at the club. Her friend was drunk as hell and used her real name during the conversation. This started a cat-fight and we went to another club to avoid the drama. (Public Solicitation and her friend gave away her real first name)

July 2010: I was going to meet a client for lunch at Joey’s. A 19 year-old that I had seen about a month before at Angel’s Spa, sat down at my table in the restaurant. Thank god my client had not arrived yet. She asks me how I’ve been and other questions I did not feel like answering. She wanted me to buy her a drink. She said, “I know you make pretty good money. Can’t you buy me just one?”

I walked out the restaurant and called my client to meet me somewhere else. I told him there was a 1-hour waiting time. There were only 3 people in the lounge.

August 2010: I was my way to meet a visiting lady at a local hotel on a Friday night. I had a 1/2 hour to kill so I stopped off at the Starbucks on Whyte.

This time it was a young SP that worked for at Revive Massage that I had seen last year. She is no longer at Revive. She has yet to resurface.

She was out with her friends clubbing; they were standing outside of Starbucks shouting and screaming their heads off. One of the girls screamed out. “My friend is a hooker and a whore. Drinks are on her…blah…blah…blah. When I went outside she followed me for about 20 feet down the sidewalk shouting “Don’t I know you?" endlessly.

She recognized me and shouted, “Hey, haven’t I fucked you before” Come on baby, it’s free tonight of you got some weed.” I ducked my head back into my car and sped off down the road.

The other 19 year-old is in the story in the OP.

August 2010: (August was just not a good month for me… Lol) It was my first date with a cute little brunette spinner I had met at a shopping mall a week earlier. I took her to a Fringe play to start off the evening. I did not realize an SP I had seen a few weeks earlier was sitting a few seats down. After the play was over she bumped into me on the way out. She didn't realize I was with another girl and she was standing right behind me talking with her friend. She approached me to ask me how I have been. The worst part is when she asked me why I haven’t seen her in a month and she liked how I kissed her from head to toe.

My date was listening. Nothing about the hobby was mentioned. The end result of course was no second date. The SP that made this mistake has apologized many times since. It’s water under the bridge. I am still pretty choked. My date was super hot.

October 2010: The other one was at the gym. It was a silly mistake that made me feel uncomfortable. She’s one of my favorite ladies in the business. I will talk to her about it when I see her for another session next year.

So those the other 6 incidents. I don’t plan to do any more TOFT mission with young ladies anymore. I can understand why some ladies hate seeing guys under 30. Sometimes age does matter.

Hopefully the MP owners make it clear to the ladies that this behavior is unacceptable.
