Should I still use expired but unopened body wash, lotion, massage oil, body spray?

I just found a Bath & Body Works gift set in a junk drawer and am not sure whether to use it. It consists of body wash, body lotion, massage oil, and body spray. Are they still good to use, and what would happen if they weren't?

The bottles were opened for the first time last week and they don't smell particularly bad, though the plastic holding the body wash has turned color (from clear to slight yellow).

The coupons bundled with this gift set expired in 1999.
I know that the average "expiration date" for this sort of thing is three years, but if it's unopened and still smells reasonable, does that make a difference?

but because it's expired it won't have the same effect so using it for intended purpose is futile

At this point, colors have changed of the cream and bottle, it is time to throw it away. it won't help your skin either, in fact, the ingredients might have seperated so its not really what it used to be
