So i am off to Patong beach with my mate coops in 3 weeks, he has been before and he says i will enjoy.........I have read this board for the last couple of weeks and i am starting to get excited but is it really as good as everyone makes out?

All the people that I know who have been to Thailand are just amazed at how good it is. I would never have a holiday to Spain or Greece again. Thailand everytime.
You should have fun all the way. Try not to fall in love (very hard!) and dont do anything silly (like get into a fight with a thai) and you should have a great time.

Yes it's as good as everyone says and I like just about everyone ( except those who are smart and live there ) else does'nt think about where and when but how soon they can manage to get back to LOS. I have been 7 times in just over two years and still am like a kid in a candy store. Every thing is available, nothing is impossible and miracles just take a bit of planning !
