Strange girl

Just returned from first trip to thailand. It was brilliant except that i got food poisoning and missed five days of the two weeks . Anyway one night I was sitting in Scruffy Murphy's and this TG comes over and says she is fed up talking Thai and wants to speak english. She says her name is T and she has just left her job in Bangkok and is on holiday in Phuket before going to Singapore. Anyway we end up back in this hotel called Inter place and eventually i'm meeting her every night. The funny thing is though she said she wasn't a hooker and i never paid her anything. She never even asked for anything and on the last night she goes with her friend and has bought a silver bracelet for me. The only thing that worried me was that she kept asking me to marry her and take her back to ireland with me, and some other stuff about her wanting my babies. Now a source in thailand tells me she is now shacked up with some old french guy. I don't understand what she wanted, maybe to try and get me to take her to ireland just but i explained to her that i'm a student and have no money. She didn't care. Anyway have any thoughts or anyone know her. Her name is Tee and her friend's is Bee who my friend met, also for free. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well as you are young, and propberly very kind, that could be the reason!!!

You know most girls they don't seem to care that their partner is twice their age as long their are getting the cash!

But ....that is not true! I have seen so many girls, when the "farang" was young, were quiet different then normal! They seem to stick very much more to him, hoping indeed to find a partner, closer to their age, and in their eyes handsomer!

A lot of guys will not agree here, saying that their gf, did not had problems with them being a bit older! But believe me, although it is their work, some younger bm are more a "catch" to the girl then others!

my GF is the jealous type, actually, arent all thai girls, but on my last trip there were alot of girls that would tell her that they liked her boyfriend, thought he was handsome and she told me that shed rather go with a not too handsome man. she said have less problems. you know they think weird

Yeah this girl was really jealous and clingy. Every morning when i tried to go back to my other hotel to see my friends i had to answer the most questions on what i was doing and why can't she come and why i didn't like her because she loves me. It actually got to the point where i was sick of it and was wishing i had just stayed to the one night no strings attached girls.

Usually it's the smart and good looking Thai girls that go to Singapore to make money. You see them in Orchard Towers usually at top ten disco, etc. (Is that right Bafana?) They make alot of money compared to Thailand so this girl sounds like she really liked you, didn't need the money and was hoping to set something up long-term.

I must agree. I am 28 but look young. I noticed that I received alot more attention being young and asian In one instrance, I went to this bar and
this bar girl liked me. She told the whole bar that she liked me and the other girls were hesitant to talk to me cuz of her. Felt like I had to sneak around.kinda weird. If the girls are not in it for the money, which is rare, they seem to take a liking to younger looking guys. Just my opinion.

28, looking young? Wish I had that age! I am 54, and just working to pay the "deathmoney" to my ex! I work my ass off in real estate, and she gets all the money!

If I was 28, I would take that girl and just go to paradise with her!

When I come to Thailand I notice that the girls are a bit disgust by me! They play it cool, but I feel it!

My hair is grey, I cannot call myself appealing anymore, but indeed with some cash i get along!

Sure if I was even more spending the cash, a young Thai girl would marry me!

But I will not, because I know it is for the cash.

That you are young, and maybe nice-looking, and a nice guy who treats a girl good, and is fun to go with, these are all reasons that a Thai girl might want to be with you and marry you. But also the fact if you married her, then you would take her to Ireland is a big thing for her. Because the wages are so high in the farang countries, they know that they can get honest work and make what for them is the "big money." You make enough money to support yourself, so as the old saying goes, "two can live as cheap as one." Only one rent to pay, food is little more for two than for one. So the money she makes can go to help her family or other things that she dreams about.

Also, why do farang girls marry a young man instead of an old man with money. Not because they expect he'll never do well or advance in his line of work. TGs are not stupid, although they sometimes act like it. They see the older men with the money, and think that someday you will be the same as them. Plus, to most any Thai, the fact that you can leave your job for several weeks, buy a plane ticket, pay for hotels, meals, etc., makes you rich by their standards, no matter what you say. And when they go to farang country, and get job, then they think they will be rich, too.

I went with a very nice BG there. She liked me, but had her heart set on a Swiss man in his 30's, which they think is young, and he did look like 20's. He came and spent time with her 3 times, but would not take her back home. I was second pick, but it was too late when she gave up on him and came looking for me again. Their were several more lined up behind me hoping for a shot at her. Each of them was older and heavier than the one in line in front of him. I met several of those men and I met her family. Her mother was going to marry her off to a farang, no matter what or who. She was stalling, hoping still to find the one she could love, and she liked younger men. But on my last trip she was gone, so feel sure she finally took the best she could get because her mother was getting impatient. This girl would do whatever her mother told her to do in the end. Their love for the mother is great beyond comprehension to me. I was hoping to hear the end of the story from Bryan, the Scotsman who ran the bar she worked at, but this year he was gone also, so it will remain a mystery to me.

Man o man you hit a spot that I have never and will never figure out....No matter what "mother" has done or said it all is ok because she is "mother"...I mean it goes on and on...I watch it almost everyday and still I do not understand...don't get me wrong I love my mom, but I could not live by her set of standards/rules I have to live my life for me.

Yes I know it is because of how we are raised is very different, but wow when I think about what goes on at times...its hard to believe what year it is.
