Interesting. According to the police report this robery took place several hours after the closing hours posted in the municipal bylaws. Maybe if they had closed when required they wouldn't have been hit.

There is a club beside this place that is also open late on the weekends.

A few times I have seen LE parked in the adjoining parking lot having their late night coffee.

Operating hours is beside the point. LE better get these bastards. As the patrons & MPA could be any of us.

It's true, the late hours may bring out the bad elements. But in this case, police report suggests they also target patrons. ie: when it was busy, with jewellery & cash. Robberies take place anytime. Remember few years ago, 3 guys hitted a few spas.

The fact they weren't wearing mask show they're bold and not afraid of getting caught. We should ban together & help put these guys behind bars, not diss'd the victims.

Maybe the higher safety factor would be to go earlier in the evening or stick to discrete locations. I think the later the place is open the greater the risk factor for clients in the place later at night.

It's a sad day when we have to modify our hours to have fun, but we live in a imperfect world, and safety should always come first.

I heard from staffs of a MP on Dixie just south of 401 got hit and the guys were not impressed with the money they got in the store they went over to the owner's house gun on wife and son(s) and cleared the house clean. Sound like an inside job. The job on the store and the house were never reported.

Security cam, locked doors are a start. These losers target the easy prey with max $$$. If MP are friendly with neigh biz, robbery watch programs are good deterrents & help in apprehend these scums.

For our part, the MP watch program - when you see 3 or more people staking out a place, let the MP know. Usually 3 ore more involve in these things, 1 on lookout & 2 or more to carry out the job. They 1st stake out a place for how much dough & get-away route.

While 3 buds going for sessions ares not common, they usually call-ahead for girls avail, so no need to stakeout a place. More likelihood they're up to no good.

TO, in certain jurisdictions, offduty uniforms have known to offer their services.

Security cams mean nothing if those MP's owners don't report. Those cams at SRM are only used to make sure the staff and girls doing household cleaning instead of sitting around when they are dead.

I may be the minority here but aren't most MPs offering service thats illegal in the first place? Kind off odd to expect some type of enforcement or security.

It's like asking that there be police security present during a drug deal.

KC, you're right. Robbers counting on people not stepping up with leads, description or press charges.

Police have to open a case if place is licence, especially if weapons or violence involved. Morality squard & hold-up with different tuff & agenda.

How much priority given, depends on political pressure, if any. ie: press, neighbors, violence/victims, likeihood of repeat, etc. According to a certain hold-up squad my buddy befriend.
