Why are there still so many people negotiating the price upfront. That's giving them the oppertunity to try. Ofcourse they try. I never ask how much. When the girls start how much you give me, I just say them UP TO YOU, when you good you will get good money!!! I never confirm a price they telling me upfront. Keeps them in a good spirit and alert all night.....

From the (Emmmm.... little!!!!!!! :embrassed ) experience of different Bg's on my last experience. I found them starting at 5000 and going down, while last time they would start at 3000. This is prob due to me getting older and fatter, but "the next generation" do seem to me to be more money orientated, and not thinking about the other things which we offer for the night. Saying that though, i did manage to get a 3-some of two FL for 1500 baht all told (shhh!!! no: ). So maybe sticking with FL's is the best option!

been out the scene now for the last two years (steady teerak) and have noticed on my return to my former butterfly ways a much more mercenary approach by the bg,s , have been quoted silly money at the bars and also at the hotel , also an unwillingness to perform , more starfish than before and girls wanting to leave early to avoid the morning boom-boom - times are a changin' - you would think that with the present downturn in tourist numbers that they would be more willing to please , thereby increasing their chances of repeat business - thai logic!!! no accounting for it.. LOL

I think the next generation is ST, not longtime, for the same price we used to get LT. Some girls do still look for a boyfriend for the future and I think case by case they will go LT with customers they think may be an option for the future.

The reason I say that is because Bangkok girls already prefer ST than LT, sometimes girls says they go LT but leave you after few hours anyway. Maybe someone who is in Bangkok can give an update regarding this subject? Many people have told me so, but I dont have any first hand experience.

May 2003 was the last time I was in BKK and even then a lot of the freelance girls who frequented Music Bar in Patpong prefered ST. Maybe same same as all over the world ,trends are set in the big cities and the other regions follow up.

You might think Im mad and this probably relates to veterans as well. The longer you stay here or visit here frequently, I feel the less you are interested in the girls as being your main focus. MikeGB case in point hardly had his togger out the whole holiday

It becomes more about meeting up with friends, getting pissed together, ripping the piss together, making new friends & lastly picking up a BG/FL/LB

I made a post saying the exact same thing about 2 years ago and was slated to f*ck , coming here for a long time or very frequently you tend to see things in a completely different light and as they really are..

I dont like ST, I like to go out and party all night and then head back to the hotel, But if a girl only wants to go ST, Why should I bring her out all night and pay twice the amount of money I would normally spend on myself, When she is just going to leg it after an hour or two at the hotel?

If it is true though, They will lose out big time, Because I for one will not be bringing them out with me for the night if they only want ST(Which normally costs more than what I give them), A lot of people will stop buying Lady drinks so they will lose out on that aswell, I will just pick a Fl up on the way back to the hotel, Another thing they will lose out on is people sponsering them, I can see how they get a guy to send money to them if they spend a lot of time with them, But how will they manage it after a couple of hours?

Also if they are only doing ST, Wont that increase the risk of infection(STDs/HIV) if they take two customers a night instead of one LT?

I hope this is not true but it wont stop me going there in april, I just love the nightlife there, And meeting up with all the BMs, And most of all the attention you get from the girls makes you feel like a moviestar

Just returned from Bangkok and I can say without any doubt that LT in Bangkok is almost unheard of nowadays. 90% of girls I came across where just looking for ST.
