I would like to ask the following:

1) What do you think are the problems with massageplanet.net as it relates to the MP section ?

2) What are your overall thoughts about the MP section ?

3) If you believe that there is a problem (or not) what do you think should be done to make it a better place for the members ?

4) Any question that I missed that you would like to ask and/or answer in regards to this topic ? (Just so that I cover all the bases)

If you don't say anything then nothing gets done. If you can't voice your opinion then others may not see all the angles.

Remember this thread is to voice opinions and not to verbally assault other members, so try to keep it clean. If you can't say something nice, well you know.

I wouldn't say that I've got any problems with the massageplanet.net massage section. You get the odd asshat who runs his mouth or a disgruntled MPA or "her friend" who bashes anyone who posts a negative review, but you're going to get that sort of thing on any internet forum.
I guess the biggest challenge is that there are asinine laws governing what goes on between consenting adults in a place of business that caters to adult entertainment (massage parlours, strip clubs and incalls). This makes it difficult to discuss things in a frank and open manner. A lot of girls don't want explicit reviews, but I think more of them would be OK with a greater amount of detail if what was being discussed wasn't illegal and they didn't have to fear repercussions from employers and law enforcement.
None of that is a problem with massageplanet.net, but it seems to affect how the massage section of massageplanet.net is run. I don't see any solution for that.

Despite that limitation, I see massageplanet.net as a great resource and am thankful for it's existance. The work of Fred, the mods and many of the prolific reviewers is greatly appreciated.

I would agree with moretowels.Overall I think that massageplanet.net is a very valuable resource.I had never been to a mp until I stumbled upon massageplanet.net, as my perception of them was a bunch of scary woman in dark,dank,dirty rooms and any advertising that I had seen for them with attractive woman I assumed to be a bunch of bullshit.Thanks to massageplanet.net I know better and you can"t keep me out of mps now!

I had been strictly an sp guy and even that hobbying was done in the dark ages before I found massageplanet.net as I relied on the redzone and now magazine for my info.After beeing a member of massageplanet.net for awhile I would say I am mostly an mp guy.

Yes you are going to have the occasional jackass posting or possibly be attacked for posting a negative review but that can happen any time you give your opinion in a public forum.

I would like to see more reviews, and less lazy posts where somebody asks questions about an mpa or mp that could very easily be answered by using the search function(maybe the mods could rig massageplanet.net so that if you make a lazy post a big hand comes out of your monitor and slaps you accross the face)

I especially appreciate the efforts of members like VERYBADBOY,MILUPA,THE LADIESMAN and others (I don"T have enough space to name all of you so please don"T be offended if I left some of the heavy hitters out) who help to make massageplanet.net the valuable resource it is.

Personally, I think this site and the forums are a fantastic resource.

There are a lot of helpful people here and a lot of things one would not even consider unless they did some reading up.

The only thing I find challenging is deciphering some of the abbreviated/short hand. I know there is a section where you can familiarize yourself with them and that too is very useful. Perhaps, if possible, we can add one of those "roll your mouse over it" features and it does the little pop up that explains what the abbrv. is? Just a thought.

For myself, I would just like to say thank you for having this site. A really fantastic resource. And even some of the "offensive" posts are entertaining. Helps one to not take everything too seriously.

Having used massageplanet.net for several years, I agree its a great resource.

My only compaint/suggestion is that maybe there could be an area for general MP discussion, and another forum that is solely reviews. I think the reviews tend to get lost a little in all the other posts.

I agree that for the most part massageplanet.net is a valuable resource. Had it not been for massageplanet.net I'd have never found SRM, or any of the great ladies I've met over the last year.

Also, if I thought massageplanet.net was out of control I simply wouldn't post reviews: PERIOD.

I'm always very self-conscious of the fact that by publishing a negative review I could be fucking with an MPA's livelihood, and I try to balance that with providing an honest assessment.

As clients we pay ALOT of money for what's 30-60 minutes of entertainment, and why spend money with "Girl A" when "Girl B" is a better choice ?

When I see a new MPA like Shanti @ BChain and the session goes well, I get really excited writing the review, coz it's hard for girls to build a client base, and a little bit of "advertising" can make all the difference.

My thoughts are: if she treats ME well, and there's nothing particularly special about me, then she'll treat other guys well too...

The only thing I want to point out is that there's ALOT of misuse, and it's more than a "statistically small percentage" of the board....

Here are some true examples:

1.) MPA "A" sees new client for the first time, who denies he's on massageplanet.net, but says he's heard of the girl and demands to know why she's "so popular" at this given spa. Then he starts aggressively pushing for mileage...

Add to this MPA "A" has seen a couple of clients PER SHIFT like this for several weeks...

This MPA got to the point she only wanted to see regular clients she trusted.

2.) MPA "B" has lots of positive reviews, then negative comments are added to a review one evening. The MPA thinks back and remembers she saw 3 clients that day; 2 regulars and a third guy who demanded to stick a dildo up her ass and cum on her face. I wonder who published the negative comments ?

a.) Guys who think they're being clever by getting back at MPA's online, THINK AGAIN. The girls share client info, good and bad. They look at the security monitors of waiting clients and if "asshole number one" is there, I guarantee they'll be too busy to take him !

b.) An MPA recently told me that with new clients she's unsure of she stays dressed at the beginning. If he acts like a jerk she goes as far as Nude and that's it.

3.) Clients PMing MP owner claiming this girl or that short changed his time... nice theory, except the girl in question wasn't working that night. She was on the schedule, but called in sick. Is the goal free gift certificates perhaps ?

4.) There's FAR too much PM bullshit. Quite frankly if it was up to me, PM's would be disabled PERMANENTLY. It only spreads gossip which affects number 1 above. I have NO idea why senior members keep sharing "war stories" with those who contribute zero to the board via PM. Why are they owed an answer? When I joined massageplanet.net I spent hours using the search button. After assembling the Indian compilation I still receive (and now ignore) PM's asking for graphic service details of the highly recommended girls. They can pay their money like the rest of us.

Last summer I had an MPA's BOYFRIEND PM'ing for "mileage" info. I told him to relax coz she went home to HIM at the end of the night. This MPA had her tires slashed by said BF and she broke down in tears during a session one night.

a.) The point is, you have NO idea who you're sharing info with.

b.) You have NO idea if what you're being told is true anyway. I've had guys PM to say MPA "C" offers DFK and DATY on a first visit... Yeah, well I'd seen the same girl 5 times and never been offered it. YMMV or Bullshit ???

I embarrasingly assume that you are talking about my post. If so I couldn't help myself.


Personally I am not aware of many problems other than the fact I just cannot bring myself to write a negative review or just don't know how to. I would prefer not to say anything than something bad.


MP section over the last year has dramatically increased the quality of sessions and MPA's that I have seen. I'd like to say that I have gone less and seen better, but now I just go more because I am almost always guaranteed a good time by following the suggestions of people like yourself and other vets

I think something that would make this summer a lot more enjoyable would be some sort of competition for us Hobbyists to get the competitive juices flowing. Some sort of scavenger hunt, or Master's tournament for some of the more prominent and even less prominent hobbyists. I know your thinking how many blunts has this dude put away already this morning, but I have been thinking about this for a long time and I think that we would have a blast. I hope this is not considered a hijacking of anykind

Considering that massageplanet.net is PUBLIC FORUM where unwanted eyes may roam, I don't see many problems other than the ones expected from so many members sharing information that toes the legal lines.

There is a diverse population of members from the nastiest to the nicest. It's entertaining as well as informative. You can't expect everyone to get along nicely.

Also the MODS are doing a great job with all the bitching that goes on. You can't expect to be a MOD on massageplanet.net without a certain amount of critisism. It's a thankless job and I for one appreciate the MODS.

Problems? Yes there are problems, but nothing that can be fixed without causing more problems.

I'm not sure how your question here relates to a thread asking for opinions on over-rated MPA's. I didn't read the entire thread though so I may have missed something in the hi-acking.

So you know my answer. Since that thread died a natural death others have started threads with similar concerns. They were an interesting read.

Aside from that there is not much wrong that needs to be fixed. There are hi-jackings from time to time (or whenever rusty gets bored) but for the most part they can be ignored if you so wish. The suggestion of a separate area for discussion vs reviews is an interesting one. I'm not sure if it would work in practice though as it would take a lot of cooperation from the members. The mods are too busy to keep an eye on it and police it. Besides, reviews are generally easy to filter out based on the thread title or a quick scan of the first post.

massageplanet.net is and has been in the past a good resource for most of us. It will continue to be whether anything comes of this discussion or not.

In regards to the problems, I was gonna say the lack of reviews, but as of late, they seem to have increased, which is a good thing. There's the ocassional hostility between members from time to time ... we're all in the hobby to have some fun, so let's have a constructive attitude. Also, every now and then, there is a hijacked thread ... sometimes, what starts out as entertaining and thoughtful, ends up being useless chatter.

But my biggest problem is the issue of 'Private Messaging'. I don't think it's a problem with massageplanet.net, as it has to do more with particular individuals who are only there for themselves. INDN_LOVER is correct in saying that "there's FAR too much PM bullshit", but I don't agree on disabling that feature completely. Many times, I get pm's from new members or those who have no posting history, asking or making demands on things that I am not comfortable on sharing. These are the guys who get offended very quickly if you don't give them what they want. The so called 'vultures' think it's a one-way street, where they can get anything without giving back something to the massageplanet.net community.

On the other hand, the PM feature can be a valuable tool. I have gotten to know some members here particularly well because of this feature. People who share common interests in particular MP's/MPA's can talk to each other without wasting unnecessary thread space.

Overall, I think the MP section is great, except for the things mentioned above. The majority of the members here are very mature, helpful, and willing to share ideas and offer valuabe advice. It's great getting different viewpoints on the same MPA's and MP's, since it would rather boring if everyone looked at it in the same way. Yep, that's about it.

It is getting close to 1 yr since joining the board.

I don't see many major problems with massageplanet.net.

There can always be more reviews.

I like the Mp feature and wish that we could get a little more pm space as the 20 message cap is a bit low.

Here and there you see some annoying threads,or some memebers bashing the board ,for no apparent reason.

massageplanet.net in general is a great place to get and give the info.

massageplanet.net is infinitely better than nothing at all.

It's most useful for negative reviews. Posters can easily say "I won't repeat" without crossing the line regarding details. That much information is all you need to make a decision not to see a certain MPA.

It's less useful for positive reviews. What might appeal to one poster might not interest another. Most MPAs have pictures on their websites. It's "service" that gets revealed in review. It isn't possible to give much detail about positive service. Yes, you can be creative, but it still all boils down to "wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean?"

I'm not sure anything can be done about the limitations on massageplanet.net, given the current LE climate when it comes to MPs.

About the thread, I agree with Ref and also think Indian Lover has some
great points. It's a little different from my perspective as the men log
on for different reasons than I do. I over hear often, complaints, that massageplanet.net is way too descriptive, the detailed reviews allow for too much trouble to brew
for mpa's and MP's. People are confused as to why some members would
want to cause trouble for something they are so clearly interested in, and you would
think, would like to keep around for years to come. But the general interest thread's,
regarding massage are humerous and interesting. All I know is that since I have
been reading the board, I think I have learned more about men and massage. Not the sexual stuff, but your anticipation's, your nervousness, sometimes shyness, concern's
about the mpa's and her thoughts, your attention to detail before a session,
the thought put into your choice of attendant etc...It's cute. And I always wonder
just what type of effect this board has on some mpa's. Whether, by reading these
thoughts that I mentioned above, that maybe they are more understanding about
men who engage in massage. That there are really great people like Goodtime, Spode,
and Indian Lover (to name a few), where the experience is more than just Rub n'
Tug. Because as an attendant, you meet nice men like this, then you think, are they
for real? Are they acting? Just as you guys sometimes think about the attendant.
So in short, from my perspective of massageplanet.net, it's nice to have met some nice guys
who take away the most often thought of stereotype of massage clients from
the attendants view.
