Tibetan Acupressure head Massage
Tibetan Acupressure Head Massage is not another version of Indian Head Massage, it is a completely unique therapy, which draws on the ancient wisdom and philosophies of Tibetan Ayurveda. The therapy is performed with the client fully clothed in a reclining or lying position. This can either be on a treatment couch, a reclining chair or on the floor and includes massage of the scalp, face, neck, throat, shoulders and upper arms. The aim of the treatment is to make a positive change in the recipient's energy system. A full treatment takes an hour, but is easily adapted to create 15 or 30 minute treatments for events or taster sessions. Techniques taught on the course can be used to enhance other therapies such as IHM, Reiki, Hopis etc. No previous experience is required which makes it an ideal starter treatment for the beginner, as well as being a useful addition to the experienced therapistโs range of skills.
