I'm glad you jumped in, because you are 100% correct about SGs for $120 pesos. AND damn good looking chicas too. I'm in LZ every weekend and chat with many mongers and share our chica stories. Better yet, we walk Constitution and the Alley and they point out the $120 and $150 peso chicas.

It is asinine to make a statement and imply that you can't get a good looking chica for $120 pesos in LZ. Just plain stupid. On the other hand I can truly understand why chicas would turn down some mongers even if they offered $120 IN DOLLARS.

I can confirm the $100 pesos is correct.
Believe it or not, I do street girls from time to time and I never, ever, paid more than $120 pesos (1 position, no BJ, con ropa).
Negotiations always start at $20 dollars but I always act "shocked" and explain to the girl in perfect Spanish that I'm a local and I'm not about to pay the "gringo rate", I demand "local's rate" and for the most part, always get it, $100 pesos plus room is the norm but I sometimes can go as high as $120 pesos if the girl is pretty enough.
I never done an old or fat chick, it's always been young and skinny ones.
The fact is that we Spanish speaking locals, get a lower rate.

It is obvious that gigant is a stupd.... I take your word that his Spanish is not good.... his English is also not good. "don't trust no Mexicans" is a double negative that is not used in English, but used in Spanish.... You really think the opinion of somebody who has spent a whole two days in Tijuana is "valuable?" After two days you really think you know enough to analyze mongering in Tijuana?

About me:
Tijuana has been my place of residence for nearly 10 years. I speak fluent Spanish. (I learned Spanish when I lived in South America. I too have mongered abroad, but I don't fall into the trap of thinking that makes me an expert on places I've only visited for a few days.) I date local girls, have many local friends, and know the city reasonably well. (Unlike most Gringos I regularly visit places like the Zona Rio Cultural Center, the Altamira Cultural Center, the Tijuana Historical Society, etc.) I'm well known on the TJ mongering boards. Back in 2004 I wrote the Newbie Guide to Tijuana, which is still described by many as the most comprehensive mongering guide about TJ that has every been written. I could go on, but by now you should get the picture.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but, very honestly, some of what you posted is misleading, if not incorrect. (You don't know the difference between the verbs ir and irse yet you say you speak fluent Spanish. Etc. Etc. Etc.) In all honesty you don't know enough yet to have an informed opinion, much less to analyze TJ mongering.
