There are definitely areas (like in any city) that you should avoid. However, the touristy areas, like Revolution, are pretty safe. Just keeps your wits about you (i.e. don't get falling down drunk) and avoid potential problem areas (e.g. dark alleys).

I followed the directions to the parking lot on the US side and left my car as close to the attendant's booth as possible. From there I went to the duty free shop and bought a small bottle of perfume as I hoped it would ease the tension with the ladies. I walked to the other side and sat down at the MacDonald's next to the line of taxis. I was sitting drinking water when in walked this magnificent woman in a tank top who had to be supporting a nice pair of 34Cs. I heard her order some soft drink and the accent was German or Swiss and knowing their inclination for hooking up while on vacation, I offered to buy her a drink. Well, one thing lead to another and we were soon on our way to La Mansion, where I paid $28 for a 4-hour period. She had been traveling all over Mexico, fearless, and needed a place to sleep for a while.
I was very pleased with the accommodations at La Mansion. She could speak Spanish so I let her do all the talking. The experience in bed was aggressive with multiple position changes demanded every few minutes. She was like many of the European women I had had before, very willing to experiment. We finished and after an hour we decided to go back to the US side and to my apartment in San Diego, so La Mansion called a cab and although we stood in line for 30 minutes or so, the trip across the border was uneventful. I did not see any signs of violence and felt quite comfortable during the entire stay. I loved being in a foreign country so close to home. Next time I go I will have learned some Spanish and try my luck at one of the dance clubs since I like to dance and hope to meet some non-pros that way.

I can recommend the Hotel Espaٌa which is on the east side of Revolucion between 3rd and 4th. (Or is it 4th and 5th?) It is clean, quiet, and well-appointed. And so far, I have not had any problems taking chicas to my room.

I went to TJ for the very first time last weekend and because of the comments on this forum, I was very satisfied with the experience. Any suggestions about hotels in close proximity to Peanuts that one could take advaneforum.xxxe of? Do you feel that there is significant risk in being outside the "zone of tolerance"?

If you leave Adelitas and go right, you'll hit the street "Revolution". Go Right (which is up the hill) and go about 6 or 7 blocks. I was there on a Wednesday evening and it was pretty clear about what it was and that it was open. There were 2 or 3 guys standing there trying to get people inside. Technically it's "off of Revolution", however, when you're walking along revolution you walk right past the sign and the guys who are trying to get you in. It's on the right side of revolution, and about 50 feet down the alley way, again on the right.

Besides the girl I found, there wasn't much there. However, she was good looking and a lot of fun. She said she's there every day, I think until midnight or something like that.

Peanuts and Beer is a strip club just off Revolution the main tourist street (when there were tourists) and not in the zone of tolerance. I've only been in there once, a couple of months ago, and there wasn't much going on. All of the Revo places are slowly going downhill due to lack of tourists. Maybe on a weekend night you might find something going on there.

I don't know about work permit restrictions.

I thank everyone for their comments. One place that was mentioned in passing was a strip club called Peanuts where there seems to be Central and South American women as well as the usual Mexican women fare. According to my erstwhile guide, Mexican women have 24 hour work permits and the others may only work from 11pm. Can anyone corroborate this? Is Peanuts outside the "protected" zone so that I should exercise more than the ordinary dose of caution?

There is so much informtion on this board, even if you haven't stepped foot in TJ, with the simple directions you can find the Zone and say out of trouble. part of the fun of mongering is the new experiences.

Thank you for your comments. I tend to be incredulous and conservative in my approach, but he fielded all of my questions quite well. I think that there may be locations that are not in the mainstream of activity so that someone who is very knowledgeable about the area may prove useful. I will take him up on his offer and report my experience to this forum. Being used to the true Asian women on Craigslist that are almost always quite cute and thin, I am prepared to spend a little bit more money on some high-level talent in Tijuana, which, with his help, I can find. I am a little bit wary of venturing too far from the Zona to find such talent, but I am willing to give him a chance.

I have absolutely no knowledge of this gentleman nor his service. The rule of thumb is not trust anyone who wants to help you, wants to be your best friend, wants to show you a good time, etc. in Tijuana. But that doesn't mean he wouldn't be a good guide. Personally, just from doing your homework on this and other sites, I believe it is very easy for someone to have a perfectly good time without a guide.

Please let us know how it turned out if you decide to take him up on his offer.

I had some time so I dropped down to Tijuana. It was a weekday afternoon when I got there. Every taxi driver tried to get me into Purple Rain and/or Mermaids. One taxi driver finally offered to take me for free so I took him up on it. By the way, I've played in TJ a number of times and am fluent in Spanish.

Purple Rain - few girls, and the ones that were there weren't much. They eventually came down to $85 for the girl and the room for 45 minutes but said I could only cum one time. I don't like them putting restrictions on, so it was no deal.

At Mermaids (aka Mermaids II or VIP) there was one girl that was smoking hot and 19 years old. They wanted $150 for her and the room, however.

I went to Adelitas and found the hottest one there....she wanted $125. Another girl walked away because I didn't buy her a drink right away.

I've been to TJ a few times. I was about the only gringo there and one of very few customers. Frankly, I was stumped. I don't know why they were playing hardball like that on a weekday afternoon.

Finally I found a cutie in Adelitas that would do $60 + the room ($12). She was an 8 but I left a bit disapointed. She just wasn't that into anything.

By the way, Chicago had nothing and in the evening it was almost as bad. One really hot girl named Esmerelda, however. "Memo" worked there and was a friendly guy.

Hong Kong had more girls, but almost all 4-5's. and I didn't see anything better than a 7.

I ended up about 4 or 5 streets up in the evening (7pm or so) on Revolucion. I wandered into "Peanuts and Beer" (possibly "Beer and Peanuts"). Few girls, however, there was one named Veronica (I'm pretty sure) that was really hot. 8-9, 25 years old, fantasitc body, beautiful face. She agreed to $60 for an hour plus $20 for the "room". After I paid, we wandered down into the lower level of the club. It was a basement club area with a seforum.xxxe, stripper pole, bar, tables, and couches around the side. There were a few lights on opposite corner. She began to strip. I asked if this was "the room" and she said that it was. It was a bit cool and the seats were partially vinyal. We got naked and proceeded to kiss, hug, fondle, and play. She stradled me on the bench and rode me, while I watched from 3 different mirrors that were on the walls. After a bit of that, I led her to the seforum.xxxe. She held on to the stripper pole and I fucked her from behind. I was secretly hoping another couple or two would wander in, but I had no such luck. Perhaps on a weekday.

We went back to the bench, and did doggy and missionary (...o, she blew me also).

While I wouldn't want it that way every time, It was fun. I felt like a dirty teenager having sex wherever we were.

By the way, the scene seemed to pick up at 7 or 8pm. Also the prices seemed to come down. Perhaps the hot girls know they're hot during the middle of the day and know that there are few of them. Not sure. By 8pm $60 was the going rate. I'm curious to see if others have had similar experiences.

Also, I checked out Luxor spa by the boarder - only 4 girls, none of my taste.

Amnesia is a waste also. it's a very nice club....nicest I've seen, however, the girls want $40 for a "dance" and $150-$300 for everything. I did enjoy having 2 of them giggle over my cock while I rubbed their tits however. That was free.

So, anyone else have this type of experience with strange pricing in TJ? Also, I know the art of bartering....they weren't hardly moving.
