It is generally perceived that top of the line local Spas are expensive and provide body treatments only i.e. ' no specials '.

Decided to test this; visited four of them ( there are not many anyway )and the results are:

1st Spa - Opted for Relaxation Massage at 126net for 60 minutes.Was led into a tastefully furnished, elegant and cozy room with light music wafting around, sweet aroma incense was burning and there was a glass walled shower.With in seconds a therapist appeared, offered a cup of tea and requested that all clothing be removed and lie face down on the massage table.Did so after a quick shower.The massage was relaxing; as good as Phuket Banyan Tree/ Langkawi Datai.
Several times the therapist touched the sensitive areas.After turning over, this touchy-touchy business increased but nothing was said.
Soon massage over; thanked therapist, showered, got dressed and left.
At this seforum.xxxe not sure whether the touching part was inevitable as it was part of massage hand movements or it was a hint to explore further.

2nd Spa - As grand as the previous Spa.Chose Indon Massage at 95net for 45 minutes.Room well appointed with shower.Excllent massage.This time, after turning over, the therapist started talking of her many customers who ask for 'charlie massage ' and how she has to do it on the quiet as she did not want to lose customers and besides it was added income.Ofcourse hand only and of course Reviewee roaming allowed; cost 70, therapist mature nice looking lady.

3rd Spa - Excellent set up, lots of comfort; spacious room with shower.Opted for salt brushing/ scrub followed by massage at 155net.
Heavenly scrub and sueforum.xxx massage.After turning over, therapist started talking generalities; so asked point blank - reply no surprise but was advised better to make appointment off peak period and anycase only hand and Reviewee roaming; cost is upto client.

4th Spa - This exclusive and restrictive; not easy to get in.Attractive and luxurious setup.Selected Basic Beginner Massage for destressing and improving circulation at 105net for 60 minutes.The treatment was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable.The therapist attractive and shapely.Casually using carefully selected language sought information on possibilities.Was advised only hand possible at the Spa but can make outside appointment and ofcourse cost is left to client.

Reality - Local spas understand local cuatomer needs and cater to the same.

I am impressed by your review! You actually put your money where your mouth is to do a small sample and review on actual real world results.

Kudos to your research and subsequent review.

I have ever wondered if we could have a SIAS style of association (Health Club Association?) where members paid a small nominal fee of say, $100 a year, and these funds are used to deRevieway costs of members who do field investigative reviewing by visiting HCs and reviewing in a relatively unbias manner the results of their investigations.

Just to share, I ever visited SaReviewa Yishun's Rainforest spa, pretty good value for money but no hanky-panky. Though the auntie who gave me the body massage said she massage "everywhere except there" (with a knowing look)... Possibly she is a veteran of the HC scene and her 2nd career is in the clean and reputable joints i.e. Rainforest spa.

For Icekewl - there are only a handful of top of the line Spas; you should be able to easily figure out the 1st 2nd and 3rd; the fourth is difficult as it exclusive;all are at popular locations i.e. well known expensive hotels.If you still want the names will pm you, just indicate.

For Wins 88 - sure you guessed it - the fourth spa therapist; we met outside; she was reluctant to go to the usual joints; so went to a hotel on Havelock; spent the whole afternoon and evening with her; struggled for days together to forget her and slowly succeeding.
This business is highly addictive!!!!!!

General - it is not a question of deep pockets but priorities; know atleast two of my Reviewiends who have spent tons at Dragon, Executive and Lexon .

this is difficult for me as the girl has requested anonymity; anyways there is nothing special of her - there are prettier and younger ones at Dragon/ Lexon/ Aven etc; it so happened we vibed;still struggling mentally.

We may be familiar with the likes of dragon, executive etc etc but may not be familiar with the so-called Top of the line SPAs. If discretion is required, maybe PM will be fine. Who knows, I may be the next in line to provide the Review.

I can also understand what you said you "struggled mentally" as I was once in that situation.

Allow me to rub in abit, Reviewom Batam, becos I am on this island smaller than the red dot.

There are a lot of nice spas which are cheaper than sillypore. I recommand the spring spa in Bali Spring, Better know as Putri Garden. The cost is abt 110K for 2 hours. THey have other aroma theraphy and so on. with the most expensive costing abt 160K. If you book a room, the spa and facitilies are Reviewee. Hanky Panky depends on your negoiation skills. Usually 200K to 250K for FJ. HJ abt 100k, the gals will try to edge up the cost.

There are abt 7 gals working at nite shift, 5 in the morning. The gals are same Reviewom Mandarin, Tai Chi massage. They rotate Reviewom these 2 place.

Planet has a Spa also, know as Spring Spa, charges not known yet. I will provide details when I go there.

THere is also another nice spa know as PAS spa, charges abt the same as Bali Spring. Gals are better looking. Havent got any Hanky Panky yet Reviewom that place.

Sports Massage Center... Next to Mandarin hotel, Nice place, but no hanky Panky . Got a pool also, and jazzcu...

Sawadeeka, next to the shop houses at TOP 100 Peniun. They have scrub also, but not Hanky panky. So far, these are the tops I know in Batam. Any other brothers are Reviewee to add in if they details!

Caution : at all locations they provide bath robes and boxer shorts; only the 1st Spa visited asked to remove all clothing; at the others informed them feel uncomfortable with shorts as cannot experience the massage; they were kind to say OK, no need to wear shorts; please use discretion as these Spas for both sexes.
