Hi there
I recently bought what seems to be a good book from Valerie Ann Worwood - 'Aromatherapy for the Healthy Child'. There's quite a lot of good blends etc and she breaks down what oils are suitable for particular ages - which I found really useful. However, there are some oils that are omitted, which I can see from other sources do not seem to have any contra-indications, such as Vetivert, Sandalwood and Rosewood. Just wondered if anyone knew why these should be omited? There are oils such as peppermint, black pepper etc not indicated, I'm presuming it's because thesee can cause irritation etc?
On the same note, her book breaks down ages and the last one she has is in the 9 - 11 bracket. Does this mean over 11's can have any of the other oils? Just wondered what the general view was.
Thanks
Tracey
