GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – Four people have been linked to a prostitution bust after cops went undercover to investigate complaints of “inappropriate activity” at massage parlors in Marion.
The joint investigation involved Marion Police Criminal Investigatios, JEAN Team Drug Force, Grant County Sheriff’s Office and Indiana State Police.
When detectives went undercover, they “were solicited by the workers at all locations for further sexual acts pending payment,” according to a release from Marion police.
Investigators served search warrants at three businesses on New Year’s Day, including Dream Spa on Kem Road, Flower Massage on Western Avenue, and Tranquility Massage on East 33rd Street.
“Detectives believe the businesses were conducting regular business and then at the end offered sexual favors for cash,” police said in the press release.
These four suspects were arrested and each charged with one count of prostitution:
- Shan Yang, 47, of Jonesboro
- Zeng Ruiying, 61, of Marion
- Lijuan Kong, 54, of Marion
- Rong Huang, 50, of Marion
