Just back from GS-I went into Magura(go-go bar) one night-a pretty,slim blonde (Elaina)from Varna offered me 1-2 hours,massage,sex etc.for 100 Leva. She said she worked for the Club so asked for 100 Leva first to pay the bar. She then returned & said no room available upstairs(it didn't exist) . We went up Party Street to short-stay hotel(30Lev). I undressed ,she quickly put on condom & she wouldn't undress. She wanted another 100Leva for sex. I protested but she said the price was 100 Euros not 100 Leva.I got 10minutes of nothing for 130 Leva-so beware some of the street girls are dishonest.

Good report, as usual - it was about time someone posted some useful info on Bulgaria...

The eye contact from nonpros, etc that you found in Varna reminds me of Sofia, I think if they spoke English over there it'd be very easy to score with nonpros, but the problem I found in Sofia with amateurs was the language barrier: they usually speak no English, and nonpros aren't like pros, you are supposed to talk some BS, even if it is some basic BS, in order to fuck them; but I got the feeling nonpros are eager to get a foreign boyfriend.

Varna is a beautiful city from here. Within Varna you can experience true Bulgarian culture which you cannot in tourists areas such as Golden Sands. The sex scene may not be quite as good though!

What originally inspired this trip was a long weekend in Prague the summer before in 2004.

Well when i returned home i started to research this country as i was now under a gypsy spell.

There used to be alot of information about Golden Sands on the mpnet before it suffered its extended DOS attack.
These articles seem to have disapeared now but i do remember it saying the girls there are gorgeous and some are sexually depraved - so it definately sounded like my kind of place.
Well recently me and my friend agreed to visit it this summer. I began some research and what i was getting back was not alot and mostly negative. Thanks for PhilMacavity for taking the time to add some valuable information to this forum.

Undetered me and my friend were sticking to our original plan, and we found some real good deals on LastMinute.com

We arrived at Varna airport around 10pm friday night. Its a small airport and cannot really cope with the number of tourists passing through it now as the black sea becomes more and more popular. Expect delays here!

Got into a taxi outside the airport and took us to the centre of Varna for a whopping 50 leve, this is double what we should have paid so be warned. Some of them actually fiddle the meters there. Agree a price before getting in. Here you do not use the meter.
