Well it's been a long time coming

I hate to say it but it's time to hang it up. The recent rash of SP reviews and posts about long sessions was my last hurrah. The reflections and self assessments were all part of a quitting process that thankfully my GF was understanding about.

For a long time I've had a on and off again relationship with a MPA and finally we both reached a point where we had to come to certain agreements. She's quitting the biz (3 months left in the biz) and I'm quitting the hobby (As of last weekend).

I had managed to keep the relationship underwraps as I know that she reads massageplanet.net.

I'm happy to say that she got her real estate licence and that between the two of us we should do okay. No escalades and dom p with orange juice for breakfast but we'll be okay.

I hope it works, and I wish you the best. Quitting is tough, dating a girl from the business is tough, and it takes alot ot trust and backbone to pull off the rare combination.

But if its an MPA I know, I'm going to hunt you down and send you EE hookers until you crack.....

How about you quitting this hobby after 3 monthes
plus/minus one week for fairness?

In my case if one of my MPAs is quitting her business
to become my exclusive massuese in private
I will automatically reciprocate by
visiting one less of my regulars in a MP. I hope one
day I will no longer see the need to stay in this hobby.

Okay I'm a f#cking a$shole. After seeing BB's joke I thought I wanted to join in the fun. This was supposed to be an April Fool's joke and with all the well wishes I'm feeling like a clown at a funeral. The plan was to keep up the joke for a few days but after reading the responses I couldn't go through with it.

It was all a work of fiction. The truth..... the rash of SP reviews was poor judgement and a binge that I rationalized to myself after the long break from massages. The MPA.... never was one, time spent with MPAs were purely on the clock.

I felt pretty bad when I started to see the well wishes because in many of my past reflections the support and insight from fellow massageplanet.netites have been useful in helping me to reduce my time and money spent on hobbying significantly.

So in hindsight I think this was a joke in poor taste and I have to apologize profusely.

BTW the thought of sending EE hookers was funny and had me in stiches and the "you'll be back" joke never gets old as many will a test to how addictive this hobby can be.

Looking at the list of those who responded I see guys who I associate with positive contributions to this board so I'm doubly sorry to each and everyone of them.

From now on I'll stick to the reviews, sharing of info, blogging about my addiction to hobbying, talking hoops, asking random "does anyone know" questions and ranting on my liberal soapbox.
