For me, Canada, and in Mexico, Monterrey, Raynosa, NL and Mexicali. For me they are all closer than TJ, been to all several times except for NL.

I could see a few plausible scenarios where TJ would no longer be a viable option for mongering, at least for me.

I go fairly often, so I can't see anything replacing it. Mexicali is way too far for regular visits. Stateside escorts are a bit too pricey for regular use, and I don't know enough about streetwalkers here for them to be an option.

I kind of like the whole package, the music, dancing etc, so I would probably try to find a stateside ficha bar and hope to meet some ladies who would like to make a little money on the side. Actually I would do that now if such a place exists rather than deal with the border hassle and policia.

If Tijuana disappeared I guess I would return to doing streets hoes in the states, and now with gas going down, it wouldn't be that bad. I also understand that the cops can't impound, and then sell your car like they use to...just for the mere fact you picked up a prostitute.

But I guess if I did that, I'd still have problems finding decent looking street hookers, and that's the main reason why I stopped picking up hookers in the states.

Or to put it in a less dramatic way, what if for some reason (takeover by religious fanatics,local gov abolishing prostitution, whatever) Tj would no longer be available as a sex heaven!! what would you mongers who frequent tj do? would you look for an alternative place like mexicali, laredo? would you hit craigslist and pay more? or would you simply rent some pornos and jerk off with more frequency? I dont think such a day will come during my lifetime, but what if?
