What is it like for a Massage Therapist working on a cruise ship?

Hi, I wondering what it is like working on a cruise ship, as I am carefully considering it myself.
What are the conditions like?
How is the pay?
Do you get any time off?
Yes, I know it is hard work and I am for that, but not slave labour exactly. I would prefer opinions from some of you that haven't been working for this 'Steiner' as I hear all they want to do is sell oils. Thanks!

Well, besides Steiner there is Harding Brothers Spa - which in basics is not much different.
There is a low basic salary, the rest needs to be made up with commission from sales.
If you speak Spanish, there is a cruise line which runs their own Spa.

You will share cabin,
work minimum from 8 am to 8 pm - after that you need to clean, do courses on sales ect.
In some Spas people have 1,5 days off per week - which is more than other crew members have
Contracts are 8 months long, or so.

as much as i know not all of have the same conditions...the work is hard the pay is not good and not bad its o.k
you get some free time too but not very much.
