I am not sure to understand well , because of my basic english...
I just think that it is really a question of feeling with the girl and that sometimes you can take a really beauty for little money and sometimes very difficult to get a correct one for a normal amount.

Normally a couple of reasons.

1. You look like a starry eyed first timer. Of course she will try her luck.
When she innocently asks if its your first time in thailand and you truthfully answer yes , shes just put the price up in her head.

2. She doesnt like you. She will up her price to 3K 4K 5K a very high amount. Its nicer than saying she doesnt want to go with you, and if you insist on taking her, then the money she has demanded will make it worth it.

I never ask the price. This is the first sign you dont know the rates.
1K everytime for beer bar girls or freelancers in pattaya or phuket. Everytime ive not had dissapointed faces or a single complaint!

Dont try this with Go go girls from BKK, Pattaya as they guenuinely expect 2K minimum... and you might cop it a bit dropping 1K in her purse.

Saw 2 absolute stunners walking the street recently.. There was a Black guy in the bar and rightly or wrong its common that girls dislike guys of color..

He asked short time answer 15k !!! Then proceeded to say she would stay for the month for 400k !! This is a common ploy, and is used by BG's even against white guys and anyone for that matter, they dont feel like going with. In my bars the girls have no problems going with black guys

Seems that the girls in Rock a go-go are NOT cheap!

That joint is in all the travelguides! Been there a couple of times, never longer then 15 minutes! I think it is a cold place, and I don't like it. Not all the girls are stunners, and for that price, keep them!

I was'nt told a price by any of the bg's i stayed with, So i just put a 1000baht under there bag in the morning, Except for one girl i barfined from playschool which i gave 1500baht and they were all happy and i got no complaints, But my mate was chatting to a stunner in playschool who wanted 2500baht St, She was japanise i think and had a japanise boyfriend, She said she never goes LT and she wouldnt go with him for any less than 2500baht, So he just laughed and off we went and found him another stunner in taipan for 1000baht, Thats the best thing about los, When one girl reject's you, You just have to walk to the next bar to find another who will gladly take you home :ytounge:

i just drink and have fun and if at the end if the girl wants to come with me for a reasonable price then cool. i dont think ive ever asked, they've always asked me if i want them to come with me, and then i say yes, for how much? i think sometimes if you hang out and the girl has fun with you, then the money is not an issue

I can't beleave i paid 3000baht long time (bar fine 600baht) at Nana Plaza for this hot 19 year old, down stairs in one of the beer bars. Turned out to be a waste of money, but hey you live & learn. I think when i come back next year i will just stick to Phuket, i found that most of the women in the go go's & beer bars in Bangkok are over 30 uke: not good looking at all. I guess all the hot ones go to Phuket or Pattaya.

I generally go with the approach AB described, which is don't mention money. After a few drinks, just say I'm going, you coming with me? In the morning, give them 1000. On my my first two nights ever in LOS, I paid 2500 ST, which was over asking price, and 4400 LT, which was asking price for a FL who was hot in bed but generally a drama queen and pain in the ass. Then I learned and never paid over 1000 that tour, except when I wanted to tip.

I found that if you don't mention money, if they want more, then they will bring up the subject. On my third tour, much to my surprise, a lot of the girls were asking up front for 1500 Baht. I never paid more than 1200 that trip. For me, negotiating, talking money, really takes the edge off the fun.

The downside of not asking, though, is that on several occasions, I have got them back to the hotel, and then, after we are naked and in bed, they ask how much they are getting. At that point, I am really difficult to negotiate with, because if they piss me off and spoil the mood, then I would just as soon throw them out on their asses with nothing as f*ck them. On one occasion, the satisfaction I got from the look on her face, when I told her, "OK, then you can take your pricey ass and get it the f*ck out of here," was better than the satisfaction I would have got f*cking her. As she got dressed, she seemed like she still thought I would change my mind. Then I told her "There's the door, don't let it hit you in the ass on the way out." I have her picture, and I still get a laugh every time I look at it.
