What should I do if I get an erection during a massage from a male therapist?

I am going to be getting a full body Swedish massage from a male massage therapist later today and I think that I am defeating the whole purpose of relaxation that comes with a massage by being so nervous about getting an erection in front of another guy. I've read that erections are very common among males getting massages, mainly due to the increased blood flow and simply from this form of human touch on their body, without there being any type of sexual attraction at all. I asked the massage therapist over the phone if I should bring a bathing suit to change into for the massage, but he said that this wouldn't be necessary and that since I am a guy, I would be naked and that he could cover my mid-section with a towel if that made me more comfortable. Under the circumstances, he will obviously notice my erection, so what should I do? Should I tell him in advance that it will probably happen and that I hope he won't be offended?

The massage therapist is totally used to this. The problem is partly that the body has a hard time at first telling one type of pleasure form another. As long as you make no move to indicate you want some type of private touching - there is no issue - you treat it matter of fact and he will too. Women become sexual aroused during massage too regardless of the sex of a massage therapist - it a very normal response to tactile pleasure

The worst enemy of an erection is stress and worry so, since you seem pretty stressed, you'll probably be fine. He will indeed cover you with a towel if you want. Many therapists will also talk to you during the massage which will keep your mind off sex or anything else. But think about it: if this guy's a professional therapist he's seen it all: erect, soft, old, young, big, small....you get the picture. He's not gonna be interested in your penis no matter what it does.
