Funny thing, there was a famous wrestler who started his life as a massage therapist. I do not remember his name but he was very buff and very good looking, and he could not get and keep female clients. Women were too self-conscious to be massaged by an attractive man. Women do not mind getting massages from average men and women. In general men hate getting a massage by a man. When I get a couples' massage I insist on getting a female masseuse for myself (this bothers my wife) but I do not care if she gets a male masseuse.

Thank you. I actually did not know the term masseur. A quick google search and I also found out that while masseuse and masseur are legitimate terms, on the legitimate side of things the non-gendered term massage therapist is now preferred. Who says we are wasting our time during lockdown?

I have not seen one here in a while but they are fairly common. Most of the couples massages I have had have been in Japan. Nothing like one of those hotels where you spend the day in a yukata, visit an onsen, have a massage, eat a meal, drink a beer and then sleep deeply. The best massages are from tough older ladies who smell of cigarette smoke. The one time I had a massage from a man it was from a small, old japanese guy. He kept asking, with my wife translating, if he was hurting me. I was too proud to admit he was. He jumped all over my back and I got fairly beat up. A lesson learned the hard way. Be careful with what you wish for. I have done a few times with a very open minded very good looking young couple at where I used to work. Try advertising in craiglist. I did that for fun when I was living at the blue condo besides DVP and Wynford drive.
