Unlike many American cities, very few run down areas in T.O.... u don’t c boarded up houses & vagrants even @ Jane-Finch... but this area= upscale. 🏘

You obviously want to be contrarian. Go find someone else. I was talking about that plaza. Of course if you drive a few minutes pretty much anywhere in Toronto, you'll get to expensive houses. Scarborough is full of million dollar 50+ year old tiny bungalows.

That's definitely not a nice area of Toronto, not the worse but it's pretty crap. If you go more South closer to the lake then at least that's more desirable.

This neighbourhood = shooting up in value... this quiet little plaza right in the middle of it now...

I asked the landlord to see the place for a potential pizza place .
The place has a room where a Australian lady lives .
Very scary looking old lady with stuffed kangaroos .
And there was no hydro .
We walked in dark with flashlight .
Lots of sewing machine in the corridor .

Of course a chinaman knows what's going on at a "spa", they run most of them. He must have a better offer than $3700/month rent for his dump and wants Delinto out. Wouldn't be surprised if the next place has trafficked Asian women/girls, drugs and gambling.

This guy doesn't care about "sexual services", just more money no matter what's going on. In that respect, he may as well be a jew.

I think that landlord is an opportunistic pos. He was happy taking the proceeds of a bawdy house but now found a better way to make money from his real estate, either more rent from a new tenant or sell it... Hypocrite pos pretending he's morally superior, when he's lived off of this rent for years.

I had a jew landlord do that to my family when I was a child. He wanted us out so he could charge the next family way more. He had our portuguese pos neighbors lie and say we blasted music all night, in order to try and get us evicted. Nobody believed that liar jew (redundant) but we did find a decent place a few months later.

Hopefully Leona leaves that cesspool and stays in the east end and that property gets infested by covid and rats.

Are most landlords tied up in triple mortgages ??

I have a friend that does mortgages and he told me commercial real estate mortgages have much higher jew usury rates than residential. So if a home is at 3%, a commercial property could easily be at 8+%.

But that chinaman landlord wouldn't be in a hurry to evict a longtime tenant, even during this covid lockdown, unless he had a bigger cheque coming. Maybe he wants to turn in into a gay bar/bath house as there seem to be a lot of queers in that area
