Anatomy of the Spirit is a great book.  Thanks for reminding me of it.  It's time I pulled it off the shelf and reread it.  She is a sueforum.xxx writer, intuitive, person etc!  Her personal path to intuition is very informative.  I've read elsewhere that the ability to "heal" is a by product of your own healthy living.

ValI've mentioned her book in other posts, but Barbara Ann Brennan has one of the best explanations in print I've seen.  "Hands of Light" is presented with lots of pictures, tables and pure science, while still completely intune with the energy.  Barabara is (was) a NASA scientist who happens to also see human auras!  It is an excellent text book with plainly written explanations and with coroborating evidence and research to support much of her material.  Once you see it in print, you'll understand just how comperhensive a book it is when it comes to energy work.

2Trees, it is the book sacred contracts!  i actually have the cd's my friend gave it to me as a gift and i was listening to it, i really like it, what she said made sense to me. is she an intuitive or something in the spiritual way?  she speaks like she is tuned in to a higher calling...i like it very much!.

I just saw in the IAHP newsletter that C Myss has a 4 CD set, some 300 hrs specificaly for healers/bodyworkers available now! Only 29.99 plus sh&handling.  If anyone has any info on these I would be greatful to hear it.

this sounds very much like the kind of stuff I experience alot when I work on people. one of these days perhaps i'll make another attempt to write more of my experiences with the emotional anatomy. I've tried to write them before betimes but my writing skill just hasn't been up to the task of getting these things out in anything like a well ordered comprehensible way. Words have never been my forte.I know this much. I know that spiritual or emotional anatomy whichever you want to define is a real and has direct bearing on physical anatomy. I would love to talk about how these author's observations parallel or diverge from my own experienes with people and my perception of these anatomies. Much of the emotional anatomy has revealed itself to me over the years. And I've not really known what other practitioners or people in general would consider of benefit from this. I've just kept alot of it to myself. there is something of both science and artisty to it. I know not everyone would even relate to it. As difficult as it sometimes is to find social acceptance for even the basics or fundamentals of energy work I just don't know what would be well received so I forebare sharing much of it. Then I read other people's books like these and I know that other practitioners are having similar insights and awarenesses. This ematosoma as I call it is part of us that won't be denied. It will eventually be known and more commonly understood in medical fields as well as it's implications and appropriate interventions. This book intrigues me. I've only recently thought of writing affirmational interventions and maybe they are already written and available. I'd like to hear more of what she has defined and suggests if you're willing to share it.

Thanks for the tip on used cd's at amazon.I just finished reading "anatomy of the spirit" today (the 2nd time)  It made a lot more sense and hit a lot harder with me emotionally this time around.Her selected readings/bibliography in the back is an impressive list of material.  Louise Hay is an author I may try reading next, or Rupert Sheldrake.  Maybe I'll wait for an inspiration!

Hi! Anatomy of the Spirit is a MUST read for ANYONE wanting to do healing work. Carolyn Myss's contributions are huge. I essentially trained MYSELF to  become a medical intuitive using her books and tapes. Really worth while.
