I had meant to visit TJ during the rains but wasn't able to, but I did get to visit earlier this week.

Well I would not think there would be a hard %...because the earnings vary. For example maybe they send home 1000 pesos per week to raise the child..if it is only one...or maybe 600 pesos per child if their are two or three...this is all speculation. Chances are that the babies could be with one of his relatives also...this is common I believe...for the padrotes parents to have the child...they are grandparents too you know?

I know a paradita that had her three kids up here with her and they just paid a babysitter and the padrote took care of all expenses. He later dumped her and got a younger girl....which I have heard of from another chica....me I don't understand it....if a chica puts in years of service, then I am obligated to take care of her if she is still with me.
