Not actually found twins yet but have found two very similar looking girls in Kamala but they work (or rather they did work) at different bars. I'll keep chipping away at my cunning plan!

I did ask one girl who has a older Sister (Not Twin) living with her but the Sister wasn't up for it, even when I offered an additional 200 Baht and a One to Call Phone card.

Im a monger when im traveling with frends but when im by myself i tend tend up being a GFer. I dont think its as black and white as you say though. Most trip reports from mongers or GFers end the same way. They both talk about that special girl that they seen some night. We are all men. Its that simple.

Well, I'm both... actually I'm a mongerererer... I just enjoy the GFE for about 12 hours, then want to move onto the next one!

Thing is, I really enjoy the variety of what's on offer in LOS, and just feel like I might be missing something if I don't move on each day/night.

I try to make sure that each night is a GFE, but always explain that I butterfry and that I will probably not be back. If I meet up again, then it is always a pleasant surprise, rather than an expected meet with all of the bollox that goes with... being late, drunk, not having called etc

How many board members would settle down with a bar girl. I myself never judge people or their lifestyle, however I am sure that many could shy away from settling down with a girl from Thailand or any other holiday romance due to social stigma being attached by small minded bigots back home. Huge amounts of pressure can be applied by family and peers, this can be applied in the most brutal ways and completely destroys relationships.
I think most people who care about potential partners could feel that life could be unbearable for a partner due to the comments passed by friends and family members. Never being accepted as an equal.
I know life is about living and making your own choices but I had a really long conversation with a guy who was in exactly in this position. I completely understood why he was so worried. His girlfirend is from the phillipines and he has already had the "Only after a passport" comments by members of his own family.
He did meet her in a bar and he has apparently been with her for nearly two years (travels a lot to PH for work & stays for long periods) Relationship started out as GFE but he says that its the real thing now.
I say good luck to them both but I can tell the pressure to conform is weighing massively on him.
So at the point mongering turns to GFE turns to the real thing can be really tricky. Many people in the West automatically dismiss the chance that this relationship could be as genuine as he feels simply because of where she comes from. I cant moralise or tell him what to do but I said if it feels right and you think you can both take the shite storm from all those wonkers giving him knowing looks then he should go for it. Could be the best thing that ever happened to him.

i think a lot of it has to do with how your friends and family percieve you, also
i went out on my own and made a good life for myself. always made good decisions for myself and have had good relationships in past
so i don't even think it would cross their mind that i would get "trapped" or conned
it aslo is how you present your partner. you show confidence in her, then people will follow
