cheesy--travel agents won,t deal with guest friendly hotels so its no good asking them for a hotel even in patong just cancel the panawa and find a g/f hotel from the list on here and book it via their website
im booked into the casa summer breeze
try their web site (google "casa summer breeze hotel patong )
its a very good hotel totally g/f and right in the middle of the action

at the end of Soi San Sabai turn left 50 m and there is a big private pool area. Thb 70 entrance fee and about 30+30 for sunbed and madras.

Andy, I wasnt saying that all the hotels that accept guests are shite holes... i looked at all the hotels on the guest friendly list and they didnt look v nice...

I picked 4 out the whole list and had the casa breeze in there!... Decided on the horizon....

yeah, i arrive on the 30th dec(this year) for 3 weeks at the casa s/breeze if you go to the BOARD MEMBERS ON TOUR in the GENERAL section then scroil down to "arrivals". you can see a list of all the b/members that are due to arrive at about that time too (theres about 110 at least!

well my dad (hes name is steve) owns a bar called the aussie bar, its in phuket along bangla road. its not slezzy or anything, he plays all the australian music like jimmy barnes etc, he also puts on as much aussie sport as he can, its the most popular bar in soi easy...... so if your looking for somewhere to have a couple drinks and some laughs in a relaxed easy going enviorment this is the place to be. :cheers:

I don't want to p1ss on your fireworks,but booking a holiday to LOS through any travel agent is NOT the best way to go about things.

You have plenty of time, do a google search, type in "Hotels in Patong" and you will be presented with an array of hotels with pics.
Choose around 6 and check back here on the forum to see if they are guest friendly,well located and then think about booking it on the web.
I have booked plenty of accomodation on the web and its the best way.
You can even check out the hotels on this site by clicking on the "Phuket Hotels" on the homepage.

Now flights are another thing
There are loads of online airline agencies that will give you a good deal.
Choose a time you want to go and check out the prices. Then compare them to the travel agents best price and see which is best.
