Big $ scam by Karon Bar Girl

I've now stayed twice in Karon and twice in Patong and found there is a difference in the attitude of the girls.
In Karon i have had a few girls standing shouting at me and i'm wondering what the hell that is about...what did i do/say wrong?
Never had that in Patong...they seem calmer and in control of themselves. Don't know if this is true but does seem that way to me.

Was she a BG or a freelancer? If a BG then I would be straight off to the bar for a bit of a chat to the owner.

If she was a freelancer....well you get what you pay for sometimes...

Yes. Karma is an individual matter.
Revenge always results in bad karma. The individual must decide whether the satisfaction of meeting out punishment is worth the price he pays in karma.
That assumes that the vengeful person is psychic(has the power to foretell the future). IMHO, people do not have the power to foretell the future.

I suggest you read "Crime and Punishment," by Fyodor Dostoevsky, which examines this moral dilemma in excruciating detail.

I agree, that's one of the biggest reasons why most guys get girls from a bar and not off the street. They can go back to the bar and discuss with the owner. I would if I was you, unless you think more trouble could occur. Also, one of the benefits of staying in a hotel with decent security. They would normally be in the know and would possibly warn you.....

Also, I'm sure the owner would like to know what's going on as it's creating bad business for their bar. Especially if the name of the bar got out on a forum much like this one

Her whole key to freaken out and getting the police was the fact I physicaly abused her. She put marks somehow on her forearms, the police took pics of her arms and me..and you guys think it's totally alright to just go into that same bar and do what ? Complain about her, ask for my 30000 bht to be returned?...and just what do you think the ladies who run the bar will do when I show up and perhaps the ***** who did the scam is sitting their with her deep stratch marks and along with 4 or 5 other bar girls? The manager or owner will freak out at me and defend Mo the girl. Do you guys who have been involved with Thai women know how important it is for all of them to "save face" with farlangs and very much so in their bars... I am very sure if I show up at that bar they will all either say the whole thing never happened, laugh out loud, and most likely tell me to leave and stop hurting Thai women and might even call the police..i feel the cops, the girl Mo and perhaps even the bar itself all got a cut of the money....Thanks guys for the advise but returning to the bar and complaining is not a plan...I even asked the name of the cops and they would not tell me...she had been planning the whole thing for the start..when I first met her we were in my room for about an hour just talking, then she said she had to leave for a few hours and would return later...i thought this was strange enough but I agreed and she did return but she seems she had something on her mind and could not relax...even when she was drinking...I have her # and can explain where she works. She always wares blue jeans and tennins shoes...I even told her that was lovely but different...my cab driver who is totally supports me and says he remembers the girl..said he will look for her and contact her...I am not looking for revenge though...

I would like to say that I spent a week with this girl in september. It is the same girl as the OP described as I have spoken to him and have proof to believe this.
For the time I spent with her she was a pretty cool girl to be around but since I have returned to oz I have had some problems with her over the phone as she has found out that I have been talking to other bar girls in Karon, although I never promised any of these girls any thing except friendship I have come to believe that a friendship may not be possible with most bg as they seem to think a simple phone call means more than it really is. This girl seems to be of an unstable or two sided personality.

So my question is With what the op is saying happened to him and the recent turn of events between her and I, what would be the risk factor of returning to Karon where I like to stay and having her try to con me somehow or make up a story to the police about something to try to get me into trouble. I will never spend any more time with this girl but am a little worried that if she sees me in Karon she will try something.
I have never been in this situation with a bg before so any thoughts or advice from wiser and more experienced bm is greatly accepted

I'd guestimate a delta of 0.1263 (~12%)!

I'd also guestimate that wandering around half cut at 4am with a BG that may well have a MIB boyriend or strong connections with one is likely to not have a happy ending!

That's entirely YOUR decision not to say or do anything. Being a former bar owner, I at times had guys come in to the bar if/when they feel they were ripped off or duped by a specific girl.

I always listened to the customer and the girl. I would prefer to know about it as if it's happened numerous times and others had mentioned it then chances are it truly happened and she needs to be removed from the bar. I actually did that a couple times. Would rather have a good name for a bar than protect a thief/scammer.......

But, if it's owned by a less then moral person, then it's possible that they may not care at all. They may get a kick back for doing nothing about it. You never know. Also, it IS possible that you could go to the Patong police and discuss it and they may be more willing to assist you.

Describing her by "she always wears blue jeans and tennis shoes" could describe 25% of the girls around..... same as saying she has almond shaped eyes and dark hair.

The cops also have their ID names on all the time. Especially if you were in the cop shop etc. You should have been able to get their names from their badges clearly visible. However, if it's such a scam as you say, maybe the entire Karon police are involved....... I doubt it though. Just another donation to their tea fund.

Perhaps you could share with us the name of the bar that Mo works in. If I were you, then I would, at least, attempt to get the name and phone number of the owner of the bar she works at. He may be in on the scam, or maybe not. If not, then he should know what a girl in his bar is up to. If he just blows you off without even listening to your story, and investigating the matter, then I think that he deserves the bad publicity. There are a few crazy girls out there and an owner needs to know if they are working in his bar.

If a girl is so richly rewarded for this sort of scam, then she will continue to do it, and it might possibly encourage other girls to do so, as well.
