But Kev I do not understand why a place can be mentioned and even directions given for BKK but we cannot mention Go go's that are nude in Patong or new bars? surely the law is the same for the whole of Thailand but it is relaxed in certain area's.

Do you not think over the last few months there has been a more relaxed attitude or bigger payment made for the places in Patong? I keep thinking this is perhaps only for a short while.

I appreciate other matters, such as big brother watching but just wondered why we have to be so secretive about Patong and not anywhere else.

Yep BB is correct, ''Kiss food & drink'' is on the corner and the hotel up Soi Dianna is Areca Lodge, a good hotel for the 1,000 range, bloody popular and have to book.
Walk past Areca Lodge and first Soi on the left. I think the Soi is opposite a couple of little bars on your right.
Soi Dianna is nearly opposite Mike shopping Mall or Mike Shopping centre, you can walk through this shopping centre from beach road, out through the car park, where all the busses are and the fruit stalls on the left as you walk out of Mikes shopping.
Cross the road and you are very close to ''Kiss food & drink'' which isn’t so bad either.
By the way Tims bar that was mentioned is a good place of a night, really good music, if you like Rock, with a big screen and the original film clips to go with the tunes. Very dear to drink through the day 90 baht for a Heiny. Out the back there are lots of pool tables. It doesn’t look like much from the road, there are 3 sections, shitey looking little bar out the front, go go part in side. but worth a look of a night.

I took a girl back to Lolitas one night and played pool and drank, the bar prices were OK from memory. Didn’t stop any of the girls saying hello next time I went back.

Discussing someone who lives a long way away is unlikely to come back and bite you in the ass.. Publically discussing a person (who may be known locally) who is providing an illegal service has much more chance of repercussions.

If you go by the letter of the law, BGs are illegal too. That could be the next tea money idea.....collect an amount off barowners for each girl they employ.
