I had the back walking massage from Lily. I called ahead. It's located in a tucked away corner that you would never find if you weren't looking for it. This was my first time having someone walk on my back. Not for the faint of heart! Maybe if you're a really big guy it's less daunting. Thankfully she doesn't weigh too much. After that, she provided one of the best massages I've ever had. She has legit RMT level skills. Also super friendly, made me feel at ease. Better than the massages I've had at JJ.

Stopped by BlueSky last week. Had a one hour from May. Great medium to deep massage. It was a full body, top to bottom. some good stretching as well. Lady knows what she’s doing. She’s and older-ish lady (40 ish) slim but heavy chested.
There was some teasing but didn’t go further. I think a second visit “might” bear additional fruit.
As a legit massage it was really good. I would give it an 8/10 all day.
Still have to try Nini.

I'd say your right most of the time, but there are definitely exceptions to that rule. Gloria and Wendy come to mind, lots of tease and then a DIY

Oh I am well aware of a good butt thrust, it’s a skill I think I have a good grip on, but sometimes the massage is so good, I’m not sure I want to spoil the hour.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m as big a fan of the Shake-n-bake as the next guy, but it doesn’t have to be on the first visit for me.
In my mind, building a rapport is a good start. Shows I’m not ONLY interested in the fireworks.
Anybody else have a massage by May?

I should add one big negative about the place: about half of my visits...for years that I have gone...I am usually...in a room...right next to the desk and waiting area. Every time I think I am settling in, then their door chime, or the phone rings, and/or Nini conversing on the phone, or with a client ...and you hear...literally everything. Unfortunately...besides having no shower, its why I only go to Blue Sky as a last resort. I really don't think that floor of the building, is well suited for massage therapy. I hope one day soon, they can move to a better location. O'Massage would be a better location, if it wasn't next to the noisy Calgary Trail.

Yeah, I agree, I haven't been to Blue Sky in quite a while. The lack of privacy, thin walls, and no shower kind of trumps the good service for me.

I wish they would swap locations with Comfort Oasis

True words on the thin walls and the “jump-scare” door chime but I am still a fan. Ironic part is I have only had legit massages there. Betty twice, May once. Both great massages.
I hear great things about Nini but I feel it may break the streak so I might pass on her.
This coming from me. Strange.

If a place is slow maybe it should lower its prices, this farce of a pandemic has hit us all, reduced incomes and even pension cuts, so to fall in line with the current economics they should lower prices to match other cities and stop gouging Edmontonians

According to my last visit, I have been told Blue Sky is very slow. So, I will give this place a plug. The Vicky that is mentioned in this old review I am quoting, is the same Vicky at Strathcona Health Spa.

Currently, there is May from Thailand, and Nini from China. Both are excellent in skills and technique, I consider both to be over 40 and attractive, and both are warm and friendly. As such: they really appreciate discretion.

BLUE SKY MASSAGE is not in the best place to have massage studio, but its not the worst. (Example: the back of a hair/nail salon.) But, if you are tired of risking your hard earned dollars on crappy massages, I recommend you send them a text,.and book an appointment. You won't be disappointed.

Please research the Blue Sky Threads and DO NOT private message me. I am offering no further information. I consider Nini a friend, and I am trying to do her and May a big favour.

I’ve texted trying get a Last minute massage there for the last few weeks (Ok, three times) and been told Each time “sorry hun, busy tonight”
But then again, I am the same guy who will text my “first come first serve” barber to see how busy he is and he says ‘it’s dead right now! Come in down’
I get there 15 min later, 156 people have shown up at the same time.
Just my luck. Could Just be fantastic timing on my part.
I really like that place so I will keep trying.

Nini provides a first rate therapeutic massage, complete with top-north back walking and moving you into a good variety of stretches. If you are after deep tissue work, she is a first-rate option.

Massage is more than perfect .. I bet you will enjoy it ... been there for over 3 years and found out Nini is super friendly and good back walk massage ... I did once time tried May ... very good stretching massage but really depend if u like it ...
Never try Koko so I can’t comment ..
