• A nightclub filled with people dancing and grinding on each other
• A concert venue with everyone standing shoulder to shoulder
• Scotiabank arena with everyone huddled in tight seating arrangements
• A movie theatre
• A crowded restaurant or bar
• The mall or a crowded store
• A crowded subway car, streetcar, TTC bus
• A manufacturing plant or distribution centre

Covid transmits from person to person. The more people interacting with each other in an enclosed environment the higher the risk factor. It’s simple math.

Any objective observer can see it. It’s a battle of a keyboard warrior searching the internet for videos and links in subjects he doesn’t even comprehend and arguing with a guy that actually works in the field with the educational background behind him (at least based on one of your earlier posts).

These are the rejects that make a fool of themselves on the TV show Dragon’s Den and Shark Tank. First they can’t grasp that many of these technologies are theoretical. Even if they move beyond theory there are other problems. Size and miniaturize is one. Getting the financing, supply and distribution figured out, manufacturing which means getting factory space and equipment, staffing touch a large operation, etc.

Hypothetically, I could design and build the most advanced passenger vehicle design for the average commuter in the world. I could build one over the course of 2-3 years in my garage and it could cost hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars to make (far too expensive for an average commuter). I would need to grow my garage operation to be the size of GM, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen, etc. and putting out a new car every few minutes to get the cost down to the amount it needs to be to sell the damn thing. I would need hundreds of billions of dollars of investments, millions of square feet of manufacturing space, hundreds of thousands of employees, an integrated supply chain giving me all the components, suppliers making those components that can source their raw materials and meet my scheduling needs, distribution channels to get the cars to market, sales teams to sell the product, advertising to help get market awareness.

Anyone can create an idea. Few ever make it successful because they don’t now how to scale and solve these problems. Even if they have the plan figured out it takes years and even decades to realize it because growth has to be of a manageable rate.
