I work in the area, Sunshine Spa is literally a few hundred steps from his office. I've never heard of Sunshine Spa ever having a problem. Yet the 7-11 staff in the area tells me of packs of teens going into his store and robbing him. Whats the posturing Bill Saundercook doing about that? Nothing! He'd rather see his name in the paper as some self-rightous "champion of morality". As was mentioned before he chooses to neglect the fact that the A& R incident was about an vengeful ex-boyfriend but blames the massage parlour. Typical politican grandstanding!

You see the great part about people who go around doing stupid things is that eventually it comes back to bite them in the butt. You'll see.

It's just this months's "mom and apple pie" publicity campaign and not to be taken seriously. Next month he'll be having his photo taken with a crippled boy scout or claiming to start a campaign against litter in the local playground.

He's gotta stick something in the newsletter, right? And the guy probably doesn't actually DO much of anything.

Part of his motivation for this may just be trying to cover his own ass. He specifically mentioned the federal subcommittee. When they issue their report, they will likely try to get Canadians to understand that their city governments have already been selling licences to rub 'n' tugs for many years to provide a sexual service (at least a HJ). This particular guy may be trying to claim that he's always been fighting against them.
