Ok I haven't been to Bannana since the time I went with Hobbsy over a year ago, but I always found the music terrible. I only went there if I wanted something more white that night. As for seduction, I think everyone knows my opnions on it!



True! That is all Tiger and Tai Pan are. FL pick-up joints. But I always tend to find that the atmosphere in these places is alot better than the other 'Hi-spec' places. Maybe just because over the years I have come to know alot of the girls and staff in both places or because its where Dodg and Denv do there best dancing. But what I tend to find is that the newer places attract the snobby tourist or worse still, the backpaker with money. Though I suppose these are the clients they want as they dont mind paying more for things that I think are over priced.

This of course leads to the debate about how Patong/Phuket is changing and the what the new people want............ Still think the best idea would be to open a big childrens play area with supervison until 2-3 am. When the parents could come back from the bars/clubs to pick the kids up with the new Auntie/s. With these ideas, I dont know why I have no job!:angry:

Not saying its good but also it aint too earth shattering either..

15 GBP gin and tonics (small ones) in a HOT (temp) club in London is the worst I have had.. Start on a few of them and your night became expensive..

But Patong isnt London or NYC either..

I reckon that 4 guys will see more than 7 drinks from 2 bottles.. I was told a standard bottle is 32 - 35 'shots' (you probably pour stronger drinks when mixing your own)..

My maths says each guy is gonna get min 15 drinks from 2 bottles.. 400 - 500 baht a drink.. In NYC, getting table service..

It sounds shocking hearing the 800... But the reality is thats not that awful IMO..

Standard US shots are 35cc, meaning 20 shots out of a standard bottle if bar pouring, less if table service.....

Even in Patong some bars use this standard eventhough they seem far and between....

Iemember when going back to the UK after being here.. They pured drinks in my local and I was just WTF.. Put some in there.. Ended up having to buy doubles and later quad measures..
