I'd be concerned about your typical AMP. They will basically only change the sheet before seeing the next customer. Don't count on a full sterilization of the room and common areas after each customer. That will never happen.

Not good - not good. Surcharges for cleaning or cleaning supplies, I cannot accept. We will have to see how business reacts to this. I don't visit a lot of small business but lets say for example, McDonalds decides to raise their prices for coffee. I think I will have to drink less coffee or make my own. In my mind, Mcd's does not have a leg to stand on for raising prices for cleaning.

The price hike every once in a while includes the extra costs of cleaning.

Cansino Biologics in China, with Canadian and Chinese scientists, came up with a vaccine that show promising results on people tested.Of course need more trials,but hopefully they can make it work soon.
Dalhousie University plan to test the vaccine in Halifax in the upcoming weeks.

Eighty-five cases among migrant workers have been identified at a farm operation in Norfolk County, south of Simcoe, according to CBC.

The workers, many of whom are from Mexico, are employed by Scotlynn Group in Vittoria, which is a major producer of watermelon, sweet corn, pumpkins and asparagus.

Of the group of 85, five are in hospital because of the respiratory virus, while 25 are currently showing symptoms.

Migrant workers have been permitted to come to Canada amid the pandemic, but they must self-isolate for 14 days upon their arrival. In early April, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau allocated $50 million in federal funding to help employers of migrant workers as they adapt to the challenges of COVID-19 quarantine rules.

The Norfolk County farm operation is not the first to experience a COVID-19 outbreak among its migrant workers. A farm in St. Thomas, Ontario Plants Propagation, saw 20 cases linked to their facility this past week, as it continues to await other test results. Multiple health units are currently contact tracing for the particular outbreak, since workers live in London, but travel to the Elgin County farm for daily work.

You were not following the news. Farmers in Ontario are having a hard time finding workers to work in their farms so they have no choice but bring in migrant farm workers. According to what I heard last month or so ago they usually bring in about 40,000 migrants a year just to work in the farms.

Fair enough but do more then like mandatory testing and having better safeguards in place to ensure isolation/quarantine. To have 85 people infected in one farm at this point in time is not acceptable. Have we not learned anything???

There's Mexican migrant workers working on farms all across North America, and has been for years.

The premier says all of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area except for Toronto and Peel region can move to Stage 2 of reopening on June 19.
Restaurants, hair salons, shopping malls and many other businesses were given the green light to reopen in 24 of 34 public health units around the province last Friday as part of Stage 2.
Regions with higher numbers of COVID-19 cases, including Toronto, Peel, and Windsor-Essex, will have to wait at least one more week before they can learn when they can reopen.
