Do all spas have cameras inside?

I don't mind hidden cameras, but what about surveillance? Like when you walk in and there's a cam right in your face, or in the corner of the ceiling.

Security dictates that these cameras are going to be found in the vast majority of spas. They are there to protect the girls, not to keep a record of your visit.

Most have cams 4 outside door hallways & reception. … none in rms…

… & ofc everyone w phone has a camera…

In spa back rm, they have rogues gallery, pics of bad clients … taken f/ those cams… even spas that aren’t friends share these pics…

If yer a bit famous, leave shades on till yer in the rm… if yer wealthy, let them come 2u…

Cameras function for security of workers, clients and the owners. Workers can feel , more secure and some owners have been known to watch what extras are being performed and demand a cut or that certain prohibited extras are not happening.

There was a robbery a few weeks ago at a well-regarded, Richmond Hill spa. Guy came in, grabbed the boss/receptionist's bag that contained a lot of the day's cash. Cameras are not going away.

That's actually a good idea. Obviously not suggesting it, just saying.

That said, i don't like the idea of being recorded inside a spa, even in hallways and whatnot. Also i heard rumors about spas with hidden cams.

In your initial post you mentioned that you're okay with hidden cams, but not ones for general surveillance? That seems rather odd.

Anyways, most spas have them, even the Asian ones.

I’ll never forget when I went to a place near Victoria Park and Finch about 15 years ago - I think it was called Angel spa and the place was very busy one night. All the girls had clients so the manager brought in in a room and said that she would massage me until a girl was ready. So I got undressed and as she walked in I saw a camera hanging about two feet from the ceiling. I asked what is that for? She told me this room was used for training the shy girls so they can learn quicker. I asked if it was recording and she assured me that it wasn’t unless i wanted to help them with their training. I soon became a 10:00 am Saturday regular in that room. Back to the original post - I have no issues with cameras in the common areas or parking lots for that matter. Stay safe.

I recall an incident where one of the spas (I wanna say Alpha or Chesswood years ago; the location no longer exists) one of the attendants became independent and was posting on terb???? about how how they were limited because of all the cameras in the rooms. Obviously at least one girl knew it was there and didn't quit. White girl with like flower tatoos. It was like 10 years ago so I vaguely recall. I think she went by the name Nichole Fisher????????

Definitely a scuzzy practice though. I get surveilance cameras but there shouldn't be hidden ones in a room.

you are one of the few customers that actually enjoy Angel spa. Good for you. When Mary's business at the peak, the girls are great. The place became a dump right before it was torn down for redevelopment.

The owner relies to the cameras to determine whether the room fees matches the money she/he collected from girls. I know one spa even has an audio recording along the hallway.
