Any place with public access, is considered public; therefore recording in those places (malls, banks, movies, bars, etc) is legal

Reality of Bill C36 is, It was created to quiet the law makers and the (uneducated) public in general, but also to keep hoes of the street, since that is where crazy and dangerous predators prefer to hunt for victims. it also gives ammunition to law enforcement to attack trafficking and slaving, where for many years they considered the real problem to be.

Many vice cops don't get the reality of this law thus focus on other aspects of vice enforcement.

Meanwhile, people are paying for many stupid things. Why is this? Does the government want to protect us from sex? Then why aren't they protecting us from cigarettes? They recently legalize gambling and marijuana. All of these things are much more dangerous than a little sex. There's scientific proof that sex has many health benefits aside from improving your mood and mental state. And you can definitely lose more money from 5 minutes of gambling than a half hour of sex.

If the government really wants to protect us, then instead of making gay marriage legal, they should make all marriages illegal. Because some guys lose everything after a divorce, especially when the women are marrying for money and not love. And how does the government know if the woman is really marrying for love? Do they ask them? No. That's why the law that says paying for sex is illegal, is a stupid law that doesn't make sense.

For some people, marriage is actually a payment, without realizing it as a payment. Marriage is a payment for sharing a house, sharing your lives together, sharing food, sharing cars, and for having sex together. So actually the sex that a married couple is having, isn't free. The man paid for it by marrying her. Should the police then charge the man for marrying her? See what I mean? It's a stupid law all around.

Spas completely defeat Canadas Prostitution Laws … they can & do claim they offer massage … so they ≠ bawdy houses… girls talk sex acts as menu ; they’re allowed 2do that… we pick from menu … we didn’t solicit & not public place…

I learned one MPA got away from a ticket at court because she did not ask money from the undercover for HJ. Her lawyer argued that was included in the door fee and she won the case. In other words, you are right, as long as no money is involved, sex service may be legal.

I don't mind hidden cameras, but what about surveillance? Like when you walk in and there's a cam right in your face, or in the corner of the ceiling.

Do all spas have them? Anyone know which spas don't?

All of the spas that don't have a receptionist have cameras so the owners can keep the girls honest about the number of clients and how long each client stayed. A girl at Sunflower (before it closed) told me the owner had access to the cameras from home and timed every client. It was not uncommon for a girl to get fired for marking 30 minutes in the book when the client stayed for 45. Cameras in the rooms are rare but not unheard of. If I have to wait in the room I'll often survey the room for possible hidden camera locations. So far I've never found one.
