It wasn’t entrapment. If you believe it was then Trump was entrapping them as he told them to go. The rioters even admitted they went because a trump told them to go.

She was pissed that he encouraged rioters to March on the Capitol in a clear violation of his oath of office. They were already marching on the Capitol when she said this. They were looking out the window just before. When she said “trespassing” I think she’s referring to the rioters and not Trump.

Jan 6th was the day to count the electoral college votes and make the election of the next President official. That process is in the Constitution. Trump’s Presidential oath was to protect the Constitution. He violated his oath by encouraging this process to be disrupted.

Even if you still believe they were “setup” there is always the appeals. Appeals can go right up to the Supreme Court which is dominated by Trump appointed Judges. So, ask yourself, why didn’t those defendants just not plead NOT GUILTY (INNOCENT), and if found GUILTY, then appeal upwards hoping the Trump appointed Supreme Court gets them off if they felt they were “framed”? Once they plead GUILTY, that avenue to appeal was lost.

I’m not following media or narratives. I was working from home and saw the whole thing covered on live TV (no editing) I watched minute by minute of what happened. I don’t need media to tell me what I saw with my own eyes. Did you see it live?

Do the math. There were several thousand that marched on the Capitol, over 2,000 entered the building, 1,100 have been charged, over 700 trials already with over 600 pleading guilty. Not everyone entering the Capitol is getting charged, not everyone is getting years in prison. That guy is only facing months in prison.

While it was claimed Ray Epps was an FBI informant it was never proven. The reason why the claim arose was because, his picture was shown, FBI was asking for help to find him, then his picture was taken down and he was not charged. So that triggered idiot conspiracy theorists to say he was an informant and working with the FBI. More bullshit pushed by Tucker Carlson and the right-wing trying to deflect responsibility from themselves and Trump. Because, guess what, Ray Epps has been charged and Ray Epps is also suing Fox News for this narrative. Fox is trying to get it dismissed to avoid another payout and the following reputational damage.

And as for this narrative that Capitol Police escorted or opened doors, etc. They were significantly outnumbered and were trying not to escalate the situation further into violence. When you are outnumbered and don’t know what weapons they have are you going to pick a fight? Of course not.

And…..there were barricades outside, police in riot gear firing tear gas. By the time anyone entered the Capitol, they already pushed through that. A smart person would say “look, they police really don’t want us to go in so if we do we’re probably going to get arrested for something”.
