I haven't been following politics much the last couple of days. Lots of car shows going on lately. Take a break, guys, from all the doom and gloom. I've always said, sex, cars, and hockey are the 3 most important things in life.

Tbh, don't follow American politics as much either. I wish I was as politically inclined as Hornet but i'm really not. Mostly enjoy watching documentaries on past U.S. Presidents who are now deceased (e.g. Nixon, LBJ). Hornet taught me a lot about how government is run down in Washington and it's fascinating (House & Senate, gerrymandering, filibusters, passing bills, impeachment trials)
Wish Canada was the same but it's totally different.

It's wrong but it all really comes down to a woman's choice but of course you don't believe women should be equal to men. So my views changed somewhat. Sometimes women need to have an abortion for health issues. I've said this to you before and you didn't say anything about it..
Who knows? God could be responsible for miscarrying a woman's child. You ever thought about that?
Also, what about firearms? Republicans love their guns but look how much mass shootings has evolved over the years in America. I hate guns. They are a terrible threat to society and should be totally banned and illegal

I've been (I guess you could say) brainwashed into believing in God. So there is no escape. I try to keep my personal beliefs to myself and am more secular than Christian. Furthermore, no matter where I go..always seem to bump into a religious person preaching the gospel and trying desperately for me to be a part of their church. Sometimes I wonder...Are these Christians doing this because they feel this will secure themselves a safe spot for their souls to enter into heaven or are they just doing this to recruit ppl so their church organization will be able to fill more seats for their church? Or, are they really doing this because they are really influenced by Christ's teachings and His influences and want to let those who have never heard about the gospel and Jesus to understand to non believers who He was and what He was really all about. Not to recruit lost souls into a building in order to build up revenue...

First off, there was no insurrection. If there was the people arrested would’ve been charged with insurrection. Not one person was charged with it.

Second, I think it was a bunch of idiots that got carried away with the excitement/frustration of the day and were coerced into going into the Capitol by guys like Ray Epps.

Third, Nancy Pelosi denied requests to bring in more Capitol police for the day. I’m going to guess so they can use this incident for political purposes. Anyone calling January 6 worse than Pearl Harbour or 9/11 is being disingenuous or a stupid person.
