I am a women from the US and I also was upset by the comment from the farang women. My husband and I were in Phuket last October and are going back in 7 weeks. Your comments are so true...same same for us...on our many trips to Patong over a 5 year period, Mike and I have been treated with nothing other than respect from from all the girls...I always feel safe and entertained and Mike always feels flattered...we have even more fun when our son Robert is with us...they pay us even more attention

The girls don't look at us as an ATM and we're not likely to be supporting the sick mother/dead donkey back in the village...so guess their attitude to us is different...this may be hard for some BMs to see from our point of view...Sometimes, we think, that they feel as if the "pressure is off" when being with us...and, yes, we do buy them drinks for their trouble...not excessively unless Mike has too many!!!! Only too true. It still amazes me that something that makes a person's quality of life better, an active sex life, can be held for ransom by one of the partners in the relationship but western women are good at doing that.

It always seems like they enjoy it also but after the first great months of a new relationship the frequency of the act does go down exponentially. Heard a radio show where the wife demanded that her husband of 11 years buy her a new wedding ring or she was going to cut him off. Pretty pathetic.
