Hope I have not influenced you too much with negative info on visas and pre-nups. I struggle with sith my own nature which is that of an idealistic romantic, the kind of guys who gets a tear in his eye at the end of romantic comedies like 50 First Dates(which I watched w/ BG in Ko Samui), and with the other part of me that says bec careful, don't be a fool, and listen to the stories and advice of the other BMs. As you can see, quite a few BMs have very strong opinions on the matter.

A lot of the girls in Thailand with "normal" jobs are prostitudes too.
If you think its better to pick up a girl from somewhere else its good for you.

I also have problems with understanding that the coustomer is any better than the bg. No-one that go with prostitudes have the right to talk bad about them.

I did not word my post too well i am not saying that these longer term relationships marriages all dont work out i know of one girl that went to cheshire uk 2 half years ago a stunner that is still there married and very very happy i have seen her back here for a holiday and she was enjoying her new life .

I also know a girl that went to denmark i have seen her back here with her husband twice on holiday very happy only change i saw in her was that she had put on 10 kilos lmao .

But i have seen many other girls leave and they end up back here i spoke with one only the other week back from the uk she said she hated it i asked her what she missed most she said the spicy food lmao i said thats crap u can send the spices to uk cook the food yourself she said she missed Thailand her friends and the bars .

Just to put a last note to this i was at an engagment party only 4 weeks ago a guy from uk and a girl living in phuket was from chaing rai they are due to get married next year ( she has never been to the uk but is marrying this guy to go live in newcastle lmao ) he has a realy busy job works very long hours here is a girl that i chat to see her with her friends laughing and joking all the time going to live in a flat in newcastle does not speak good english although she is learning she will be stuck in a flat all day alone NO friends hey she does not even know about uk winter never mind NEWCASTLE one of the coldest places i have ever set foot in in the middle of winter i am sorry i hope it works out but its doomed what a sad lonely life she will lead for a while .

At the moment this guy comes here 2 or 3 times a year has been seeing her two years its all honeymoon period his on holiday there having fun he spends money takes her out buys her what she wants he saves all year to spoil her for 4 weeks a year sorry but when she goes to newcastle its welcome to a different world i can see the misreble sulky face and the tantrums now lmao knowing this girl it just wont work no: shes just not marriage type .

I agree with you Geir especially in Asia it seems to me women don't have access to equal opportunity to jobs as women in our countries do. It started with cavemen trading fire for sex uke: and has evolved ever since. I don't think that a girl that gets paid for sex is any way lower than the man that pays her. Everyone is equal in my eyes. But there are so many girls here that falling for a girl in the business for a long time is just not in the equation for me. I like the bread girl, the cashier at the bank, the waitress at Rio, etc. Who knows if they are partimers as well, some are. But spending two days with a bar girl then saying you have these deep feelings for her is just naive and that what happens to guys who have never been to Thailand before.
We also must not judge a Thai by western Christian standards that we are brought up with. Thais and Chinese don't seem to have the hangups about sex that we seem to have from the states.

i had an argument this afternoon with the bg i keep in touch with.i wouldnt go as far as saying she is my tg gf but i spent a lot of time with her on last 2 trips and like her a lot.but i still shag around out there and have had arguments with her when caught.she is very good at finding out if i been with a lady st.so i will share some of the foils they no to find if you been st in your room with another bg.
